Live view is fun , but...I think for biginer like me , learn how to use the viewfinder is the most basic knowledge.

Guys do you think a dry box is important? Currently my camera sits inside its sling bag everyday > < Getting kinda concerned bout fungus cos my dad's SLR grow fungus badly when I'm small...

If you want to travel light..like me, buy winner sling..looks like back pack but only got 1 shoulder strap..can imagine ? ahmike call it "Ninja Style"..coz you can grab the bag and slide it to front and pop up its side to take your camera..believe me, i can take out my camera in 5 sec.. (Ahmike : i practice the whole nite  ) unlike normal camera backpack..big

Not recomended for hiking..but for street photog or jalan jalan without something hanging on your neck...i recommend it...just one catch...you cant put tele lense in it..coz its small..got it from Tarita for RM250...bet you can get lower if search aroudn summore.

I'm seriously considering this purchase list once i cannot tahan the poison and the wait for the A350.
This list gets me more items than paying for the initial price of the A350 + all the other items i presume.

Here goes:
1) A200K - RM1700 (Tarita Sg. Wang) as per forummer "new-bie"
2) F56AM - RM1100 (saw the price somewhere in the v1 thread, would anyone care to highlight where to get at this price?)
3) Kingston CF 4GB 133x - RM149 (lowyat)
4) Camera Bag (dun really know which to buy yet, any suggestions?) - RM200
5) The Beercan - RM650~700? since not planning to get the 2nd kit lens, is this an appropriate replacement?

so the total cost would be ~RM3850, which is an amount that both the mind and heart are congruent with...hehe.

Just fyi, my focused interests lies in photographing people as subjects and wedding for events.
Low light photography (is this even a photography category?) interests me too, and to mention the obvious remaining categories such as landscaping and macro photography would be mainly casual stuff when on holiday or jungle trekking.

I'm not sure whether the kit lens + beercan would be able to at least start me off in the right direction so any feedback is grande mucho appreciated.

P/S: I seriously am a newbie but have been reading on photography and following this utterly poisonous thread =)
