QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Mar 4 2008, 03:23 PM) May be temporarily, just personally feel the bottom hasn't reached yet. Normally, market find temporarily bottom with capitulation aka panic selling and lost hope selling. Just my opinion though. Now queueing for Axreit. |

QUOTE(skiddtrader @ Mar 4 2008, 04:01 PM) Haha, for so long I've been waiting for the market to crash cheeroy. I only hope for the lowest, though I doubt the day we see prices go into deep discounts unlike last time when prices of PBBANK can go so low. But I do remember in Singapore the last time the prices of blue chips reach shocking lows was during the SARS period. Very good time to buy stocks then, but in Singapore everybody thought it is the end of the world. The bolded part is what I meant for capitulation to happen, then it is the time to buy for long term with significant portion of a personal portfolio. I don't hope to buy at lowest, nor hope for market to crash, just waiting how market will turn out to be. I am a bit wary of potential stagflation to happen which make me most of the time (although still nipping some reit stocks) staying sideline since last year end. You never know what will happen in the market, just hope for the best and prepare for the worst. |

QUOTE(skiddtrader @ Mar 4 2008, 04:07 PM) Cheeroy, I think no need queue for Genting at RM6.50 already. I wanted to queue as well but looking at the lines, 39k lots queuing at RM6.50, I rather buy at RM6.55. What do you think? There are people that can sell 30-40k lot in one shot if they really want to dispose.Wait to see how it goes then. QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Mar 5 2008, 10:08 AM) Ha, Ha, still not buying. Just come in office and log in to see the price. Will see how afternoon going, no rush to buy. Yup, will only take 10 lots at each time. Me, small player only nia. PS: Yesterday did queue at 6.50 but didn't get, so let see how today movement, may be queue cheaper 10 cents. Now, it is a buyer market. Buyers dictate the price liao. QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Mar 5 2008, 10:11 AM) Buying Genting could be risky bcos it is artificially supported for some reasons and it creates a temp bottom. I aim for trading buy, not keen on long term (yet).Just hope that the support is strong. In case it rebounds from rm 6.55, then it is profitable . Now at 6.45 Just 2 sen opinion. QUOTE(pasqualle @ Mar 5 2008, 10:49 AM) Talking of holding power, 3-4 months is too short. At least 1-2 years time. This post has been edited by cherroy: Mar 5 2008, 11:40 AM |

MISC-O1 is trading at 8.15.
MISC is trading at 8.65. It summed up the foreign funds wish to get out of this market. With CPO plunging heavily after previous bubble, all plantation stocks are affected which make KLCI worst. That's why plantation previously don't care about FCPO rising as they saw it is not sustainable. This post has been edited by cherroy: Mar 5 2008, 11:54 AM |

QUOTE(chinkw1 @ Mar 5 2008, 01:30 PM) Cherroy, The announcement is regarding of KLK taking LPF into private at Rm4.20.KLK announce some news, but dunno what it meant. After the news announce, KLK is down. Whats the meaning of the news ah?? It is down mainly because of general market condition and CPO plunging. It is being suspended yesterday (when everyone also down) so just taking 2 days drop into 1 day drop. |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Mar 5 2008, 02:56 PM) A bit of luck only, yesterday did queue, but sellers don't want to give. So today don't want 6.50, (tiaw keh liao, in Hokkien) haha. Intend to buy for short term trading for the technical rebound only. May be wait the selling pressure recede then only jump in. No need to rush in this kind of market. Slowly see and take. There are plenty sellers up there, so no rush, like Genting 20K are queueing at 6.45, so don't need to rush. If trend changes, then take 6.45 staight away. QUOTE(kinwawa @ Mar 5 2008, 03:51 PM) hahhaha...at least now they got 'alasan' to drag KLCI lower...saying "in line with regional downturn" then later......push it up saying..."our economy is robust" Now KLCI is the worst performance in the region. Everyone just down a bit, but KLCI drop more than 2%.The market tell us the GE result? |

QUOTE(alivecmh @ Mar 5 2008, 03:58 PM) Maybe this is one of the strategy from BN. If BN win in this election, they will push the market up and proof to everyone that "BN win in the election n push the market up" If market goes down, then already lose some votes because of severe market down turn then how?Doesn't sound quite logic. QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Mar 5 2008, 04:03 PM) so hard to guess As long as your stocks are giving out more than 3.7%, you are actually a winner already!whatever is the outcome, as long as i stay sideline, not pouring money in whether who win, who lose market up or down i lose nothing, still a winner, right Added on March 5, 2008, 4:15 pm QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Mar 5 2008, 04:13 PM) Yup, small knife but bug tree. But with the force of selling (high volume across the blue chips), I don't think it will turn back up so soon so quickly before April. Longer term may be, April seems too short of the distance.I might be wrong. Judge your own. This post has been edited by cherroy: Mar 5 2008, 04:15 PM |

Genting sellers withdraw their queue at 6.45 and 6.50, to sell at 6.40. <--- symptom of almost done with today selling properly and keen to 'clear stock'.

QUOTE(skiddtrader @ Mar 5 2008, 04:28 PM) Well I bought my normal ones already. But since I want a piece of Genting's action but can't really play the mother share. So I look around, the 0.01 per unit CW is very tempting lo. 50k shares only RM500 only mah right Yup, just like Pana said, if don't mind losing the Rm500, then it is your choice,But I do admit this is more of gambling rather than investment. So please bear with me ^^ Expected rebound to reach RM7.60 if it does rebound after a few days of sliding. It is more like a gambling at Genting, you take Rm500 bet on roulette on 1 number out of 37 number. |
