QUOTE
Pursuant to Rule 8.15(1) of the MMLR, a listed company must ensure that at
least 25% of its total listed shares are in the hands of a minimum of 1,000
public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each ("Required Public
Shareholding Spread").

Accordingly, the Company does not comply with the Required Public Shareholding
Spread as the total number of H-Displays shares are held in the hands of only
725 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each.
Is this the reason why the share holder of HDisplay started to dispose the share in huge quantity just to comply with the rule ?

QUOTE
H-Displays had on 31 December 2007 announced that it had entered into a
conditional share sale agreement with Dalux Technology Company Limited and Ke
Li Zhi and Chris Or Shui Bun for the proposed acquisition of 90% equity
interest in Smart Good Enterprises Limited ("Proposed Acquisition"). The
Proposed Acquisition provides an opportunity for the H-Displays group of
companies to expand its business activities to the fast growing China market.
Therefore, the Proposed Acquisition may potentially enhance the value of the
Company, its profile and hence the liquidity of its shares.

It this turn out to be true, do you think this will be another "GPACKET" :-p

Sigh sigh, missed the boat, Hdisplay keep going up. Previously the sharp lost of the price was caused by the violation of the KLSE rule, where the % of public share holder < 70%. I guess that's why there is "panic" selling to obey the KLSE rule. Now ppl start buying back. Hopefully I'm wrong and this counter continue to plunge further to my target price biggrin.gif

Bad news from US unemployment rate on friday night will probably drag down klci to much lower, especially if BN lost in the GE or opposition party successfully deny BN 2/3 majority in the parliament. I guess.

Maybe this is one of the strategy from BN. If BN win in this election, they will push the market up and proof to everyone that "BN win in the election n push the market up" biggrin.gif

QUOTE
Along with the ADP employers report, the data is expected to consolidate investor views about U.S. jobs data to be released on Friday, a major indicator of likely interest rate moves.

"The ADP report has given us a heads up that the jobs report on Friday could be worse than expected. All the other jobs indicators are also consistent with a softening U.S. labor market," said Shaun Osborne, chief current strategist at TD Securities in Toronto.

Cash out whenever possible, don't be greedy or else you probably will catch a falling dagger on Monday. Maybe I'm wrong biggrin.gif

QUOTE
The Fed said Tuesday it plans to lend Treasurys in exchange for mortgage-backed securities and other battered debt that all but collapsed in the subprime mortgage crisis. Global financial institutions have written down almost $200 billion due to the credit crisis, and big U.S. investment banks next week are expected to report more losses when they issue first-quarter results.

Beware of next week
