No it wouldn't be affected and pay it at any traffic police station.

There's one in PJ State and another in Subang.

of course it will effect ur license cos ur is under "P" probation license..it will deduct ur merit..correct me if im wrong ppl..

Just go and pay for it and don't worry bout the merit system. The merit system doesn't work half of the time... Where the summon issued? If you want discount must go back same state and pay, otherwise can pay full at any police station in other states...

Procedure to get 50% discount (must go to where the summons issued):
1. Write a 'Surat Rayuan'.
2. Get the district OCPD signature (must have 'surat rayuan' and summon ticket). If he's not around, you can leave the document with his PA and come when its already been signed.
3. Pay at the summon counter

No problem. You can go to the counter 1'st and ask them to print you a new one. Just give the your IC or license.

Assuming they have not informed JPJ about it quickly pay, if they have i think you might have some points deducted.

The speeding ticket is issue on the car right? When you pay for the summons, they don't take your license.

So, means they issue merit on the car owner?
If you drive your friend's or parent's car and get a speeding ticket, so the car owner license will be issued the merit point(s)?
IF som, then often we send our cars to the service centre, and the mechanic takes it to test and speed around. Any speeding summons issue (speed camera) in upon the car owner?

For 'saman ekor', the summon will be to the owner of the car. Not he driver. So, never let people borrow your car.

I think they do take the license. But it depends who's name is the car registered to. If it's registered to your dad then the summons will be issued to your dad's license. The KEJARA points will also be deducted from his own as well.

As long as your KEJARA points does not deduct more than 10 points, you should be safe

No, if records of JPJ & Traffic Police are integreted, either way you're doomed. "P" means no breaking of the law before your 2 year term is up. Pay or no pay. Not knowing is not an excuse anyway. You shouldn't have sped anyway.

After that, you can break all the law you want, within the merit points limit of course

Can pay at any police station. But has to go to where the summons are issued to get the 50% discount.

While in "P", one have 10 demerit points to 'utilize' until the license's suspended.

After you pay the summonse, don't forget to inform them to remove your name fr the blacklist. YES, it's not automatic, it must be done manually.

No, you can't renew. As long as you're blacklisted (no matter JPJ or PDRM), you can't.
Just pay at MyEG for discounts.

if not mistaken, you must have been speeding alot in order to get blacklisted. normal summon usually won't get blacklisted one, only those that have got court warrant will be blacklisted only.

for example, speeding more than 40kmh of the speed limit is a type of summon that have got court warrant, but if you pay within a given time, it should be fine dy. For "P" holder, I guess they will deduct points..

i dug up the ticket, apprently, its for "not having a P sticker" when i was renting a car in langkawi...@@

so really cant renew?

but its not my car, the car owner cant renew his road tax also rite?the car number is blacklisted by both JPJ and PDRM. can he still renew?

I just checked my car number plate for summons using the SMS system and found out I've got a summon for "Memotong Cara Bahaya-Potong Q". The summon was dated quite long ago, probably the offence was not commited by me but by the previous car owner.

I also found out that my car is blacklisted. Is it possible to get blacklisted just because of a RM100 summon?

Surprisingly, MyEG says there are no summons when I checked their web site. Any ideas?

ironically i rather not check sometimes. the more u check the more problem u get.....

In order to get blacklisted, there're a few ways. Normally dangerous acts like beat red light, speed, etc. That way, you'll get blacklisted.
Others like HID issue, parking, etc will end up in summon too, but won't get into blacklist.
Blacklist will only stop you from paying road-tax and renew your driving licence, but normal summon won't.

Hmm... Is there any other way to check for summons? The SMS shows I have one outstanding summon only. Is it reliable?

i got a summon on speeding..kena at kesas..lol....and the car's ownership is me....dad..la..put my name...so if kena other ppl drive and tekan...kena is under my name d... ..... ealier i was holding the P license...and last few week i renewed to CDL...no problems...maybe for those who kena blacklisted teruk teruk cant renew??

u only will get blacklist from pdrm if the summon is issued on the spot and signed by u. if saman ekor, like speedcam or speedtrap nothing will happened. even its your car. my car under my name got 3 speeding ticket. all saman ekor.still can renew road tax and driver license

Hmm, what you said sounds true to me. When you sign the summon, you'll see you've to attend court hearing after 2 months time if you don't pay up your summon. Hence, if you miss the hearing, you'll be blacklisted.
Am I right?

i never pay saman ekor. why u should pay the summon when you can renew your license and road tax.

however signed summon for sure need to pay. they will automatically blacklist you. even your fault just don't buckle up ur seat belt.
