Original License ?!! Whoo hoo !

I malas to post evidence, but mine one is almost like Vail one, obvious improvement in speed after 2am.

P.S. : School rumble is a quite nice & funny anime. I just downloaded it few months ago...

P.S. 2 : Wow, galanime.com allows direct http download with multiple download ?? That's a rare occasion...

thanks Vail.. huhuhu...

if people think that i'm a decoy, u're definitely wrong.. i have no connection with iZZi, other than the user position of course..smile.gif yeah, may be i'm just a lite user as vail said.. i'm putting msgs here just to share and raise my concern, and updating based on what i've experienced.. - if other people want to know..  btw, i've once 'my blood go upstairs' with iZZi support too, u know.. hahaha.. that time, my terminal was OUT.. huhuhu. and i had to on and off a few times to their office just to get the replacement unit.. haiyya, so annoying coz i have to take leave from office just becoz of that.. thank God that when it's OUT, it still under warranty and i don't have to pay anything.. hihihi

waaa.. capping issue.. honto desu ka? no wonder.. huhuh.. i do dld, sometimes.. hehehe.. but not that big2 files.. and i admit that there's different speed on different time.. before midnite and early in the morning esp. but, i thought it's just becoz of the provider of the dld link eg like mu or mf.. coz my frens using other ISP also sometimes having the same situation as mine..

youtube? haven't watch anything from youtube lately.. so, no idea.. i don't really like watch something via streaming.. 'slowwww'.. hahaha.. if that info helps people, then..good.. hihihi

Erm.... blush.gif Sorry ar if my post earlier meant anything you... It was meant to be a joke, because majority of people complain Izzi, so, sorry if I offended you in any way that I not intended to... komene.. notworthy.gif

Yes vail, me too. So frustrated because I was disconnected from my online game. Crap. And I waited the whole day till 2am and then suddenly Izzi cannot connect at 3am ? sigh...

There was no network maintainance at my area as well. Well, judging from here, maybe there was a downtime affecting all Izzi yesterday.

The daily throttle thing drives me nuts... Haha

If they really want to impose bandwidth throttle rule, i rather they impose TUPD than Celcom or maxis' monthly data limit, at least we have 4 hours of unthrottled happy hours right ? better than nothing

I want to know.. how to get the refund for izzi..? fed up of the constant slow speed.. :S..
*
for refund thing, you will need to know how long have you been using Izzi.

If within 7 days, 100% refund minus RM180 admin fees (meaning they charge you RM180 admin fee )

If within 90 days, 75% refund without minusing RM180 admin fees

If within 6 months, 50% refund without charging admin fees.

You must bring full working modem to their office to claim your refund. Be prepared to wait at least a month (from what I heard) to get your refund payment back. Their office is menara olympia. Near the maybank at puduraya there. You can always call them for details. :-)

I missed my Izzi already... lol

Because I am currently at penang, so, i am forced to use screamyx. Compared to Izzi, screamyx really sucks. Cannot load many web sites. If there is no TUPD rule, Izzi wins hands down.

Whoa, a lot happened during my holiday at penang. Luckily I am not at cheras right now, or I am sure my blood will boil !

anyone stay at tmn midah cheras using izzi? how is d speed?
*
I am from there, precisely, Prisma Perdana. The speed is not impressive, yet not sucky. Average 300-500kbps. Sometimes torrent during unthrottled period can reach 50-60 KBps. Not advised to use it actually.

Anyone experienced weak signal ?

Since I start using Izzi yesterday, the signal here in my area is weak. Sometimes 70%. Sometimes 100%. I suspect my antenna has broken... How to test it ? How much does a new antenna costs ?

try to use it without antenna and check the signal again.

WOW !! rclxms.gif Hasty reply.

Any other way to test ? I test it already. Sometimes without the antenna, the signal is weaker, sometimes without the antenna the signal is same. Sometimes when i ketuk ketuk the antenna, then the signal improve for a while, then drop again. Sometimes there are no problem at all. ( Many sometimes huh ? lol )

Is it the BS near taman midah there is broken ? I do hope so, because a new antenna costs RM69 (according to Izzi website )

Like now, without antenna 60-70 %. With antenna 90-95 %, where pada masa dulu, with antenna 100% always.

Hmmm... Can login to the izzi, izzi123 account, but how do you test it ? Cannot access any websites from this account to check the speed.

Then probably is base station problem i think.dont be surprise because i also encounter same problem with u sometimes. Most probably at this time consider "happy hour(2am-6am)"and most of the izzi users at ur area are drag the bandwitch from the basestation and thats why the signal&speed slow. But anyways this statement juz based on my assumption la,u might treat it as ur reference ennuf hehe cool2.gif

p/s:use the izzi account check the speed at izzi official website www.izzi.com.my
*
Hopefully that sometimes can go away soon hmm.gif , thank god someone experienced this before, or else I may go bananas to buy a new antenna... rclxub.gif Well, I was trained by Izzi to be patient...

P.S. : Now is not the happy hour for me. Slow speed.

Oh ya, last time at lowyat, some Izzi staff show me the location map of base station. Is it possible to know whether the base station at a certain location is congested with users ? Let's say like, my place, Taman Midah ?

P.S. 2 : just login to izzi + izzi123 to check izzi.com.my. The speedtest wasn't working. So, I looked at my UTL's current data rate when browsing through izzi.com.my. Speed not impressive, max 250kbps. Plus when loading the service coverage map picture, the speed was around 300kbps only. rclxub.gif

For ur information, taman midah area only have 1 basestation only which located somewhere around Plaza international college there and i assume maybe today ur area izzi user download a bit kaw gua so affect the area connection.Actually this is like a laws of ISP especially for the bandwitch is something like a limited resources for all the isp in malaysia and thats why almost no wireless isp in malaysia can provide unlimited bandwitch except the most wealthier ISP daigoh TM can do it. icon_rolleyes.gif

In conclusion,on user perspective maybe u can blame ur isp poor managment meanwhile for isp side is their customers is too ganas to drag their bandwitch and they force to throate this and that.

What to do ?sometimes only a line of different between people greediness and the poor managment. thumbup.gif
*
Well said. icon_idea.gif Compared to certain wireless broadband (point to Maxis & Celcom), Izzi sometimes is better.

Majority of here are on user perspective, just some demands more some just don't care...

So, as a consumer, let's hope for better quality and less throttle ! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

P.S. : Your signature's VPN won't work for Izzi right ?
P.S. 2 : Please, that "sometimes" faster go away...
P.S. 3 : 1 BS.... rclxub.gif

4 days in a row the speed has been crappy no matter during those uncapped period or punishment period. Even when I did not exceed the TUPD, the speed is still crappy, around 200kbps, which is the worst performance since I started using Izzi.

Will I get any solutions calling to Izzi technical centre ? Will call tomorrow though...

Hmm... On Friday, when I decided to call, I suddenly realize it was Labour Day ! So, I get lazy and just laid back. The speed on friday is on its original form. Speed on saturday is 60% of Friday. Speed on Sunday... blink.gif aweful...

Maybe my area is already congested.

Does the VPN increase your internet speed somehow ?

Alright, I just had a nice chat with Izzi customer service... shocking.gif

He said my area user congestion rate is low, blink.gif thus, I should be getting decent speed and not crap speed. blink.gif I ask him which BS station is I connected to, and he said a place name I don't know of, hmm.gif and apparently, it is the nearest BS to my Izziyou.

Then I asked, how come the same spot I have 100% signal 1 month before and 80% now ? hmm.gif He asked me to relocate my modem & antenna, which i had tried frantically. Hmmm...

So, the conversation ends here... No conclusion, solution or whatsoever. Well, it's better than the "your-PC-is-full-of-porn-spyware" excuse... doh.gif

There are 2 things I wonder...

1. Is Taman Midah really not congested ? cool2.gif
2. Is my UTD really connected to Taman Midah BS ? Because he spit out a place name that I never heard before, which I am sure is not near my neighbourhood. And Adonize checked my UTD once, said my UTD is connected to The mines BS. hmm.gif

So, Soon Vee, icon_question.gif will you able to check it for me if I gave you my UTID ? Thanks ! XD icon_rolleyes.gif

Hey guys, i just wanna know. Did u guys notice that every saturday the connection is almost max.

I mean like from sunday-friday u got socks speed (minus the "happy hour") but on saturday no matter how much u download the speed remains at the peak (>900Kbps).

What i notice is that in the past two weeks that i didn't disconnect my izzi (i use the same ip that i get on saturday) the dl speed is not dropped or capped.

So what i really did is (or in other words, a little experiment):

1. When saturday comes, i disconnect izzi and reconnect again(To get a new ip add).

2. Then I didn't disconnet izzi for 2 weeks(meaning i still use the same ip i get on saturday).

3. I set my dl manager (I use IDM btw) to connect 1 connection only each dl.

The result:

For these past two weeks, my dl speed is max all the time, no dropping or anything although i dl 5 files at a time (but as i mentioned above, i set only 1 connection per files. I didn't test torrenting tho).

This is just my hypothesis tho. I just want to know if u guys experience the same.

My experiment unable to be continue for longer time because:

1. My laptop gone crazy bec i keep it running for 2 weeks.

2. My hand is "gatal", change the max connection per files to 16. After a few hours, izzi disconnect itself (This happens last night). sweat.gif

But what i have been actually confirm in my case is that every saturday (starting from end of last month) the connection is at its best. Like izzi actually give 1 day happy hour. laugh.gif

p/s: now i'm stuck with slow speed. Max is abt 250Kbps only cry.gif
*
Well, great discovery, and since today is Saturday, I just tried this out with torrenting. The result was negative, I am capped right now.

Not only that, I just reach around 400MB today, and I get capped ! And this whole week I have been testing, the cap limit for me is not exactly 700MB. What I noticed is, I surf net till around 9pm, and since I won't be using internet after that, I start downloading stuff through bittorent. Initially, the speed was fair, around 40KB, however, after around an hour, my speed was capped, and I haven't reached my 700MB cap yet ! Surfing and everything was slow, and this condition resumed exactly at 2am.

Does anyone face similar dishonest TUPD condition like me ? I feel crap right now.

I was downloading since 2AM. I got capped on the morning after reaching 750MB of downloads but after about 6PM, I got back my full speed. 1Mbps (115KB/s). Weird..
*
I sometimes notice as well those CAP sometimes didn't function properly. Like, for thursday, whole day I can reach 60 KBps without cap limit. Yet, yesterday I just use 300MB to play online game and I get capped immediately. O_o

Saturday is always the worst. Crap speed. Usually Sunday I get better speed.

And someone mentioned before that if you didn't disconnect your Izzi for days, you might get faster and faster speed. That's true for me. I didn't off my Izzi for 3 days where on thrusday I didn't get capped. Then suddenly on Friday morning, I get a DC, and since then the speed is f***ing sucks. O_o

Anyone else has same experience ?
