actually, you should call them up... let them be more aware of the situation. They would consider to build more tower around that area upon lots of subscriber's complain

hmmm... i have nothing to say... except, i am one happy subscriber and distributor. As for complains, perhaps you can talk to them again. They are actually nice person but only stressed out sometimes. Do you know what they are going through?

I believe if you guys had been to lowyat, you can see that there is one booth for izzi wireless broadband and there are like 15 promoters? Look at those promoters... they know no shit about customer services... what they know is to sell and sell and sell only... what they care is their commission at the end of the day but Klang valley is not even fully covered yet.. there are blind spots... and just imagine all those people with 0% signal wanted to do refund after activation. CS would be damn hectic... THere are some customer who don't even know what OS they are using and start calling them on how come cannot connect thing... i myself have a pity on the CS themselves.. but what i hope is that those ppl who call CS would be those that complains that the speed are slow and hope that they could build an extra tower nearer to their place... But to build an extra tower, they would need the agreement by the building management themselves before building it... so, those building managements sometimes delay them alot. thus making them unable to carry out their job smoothly...

I'm sorry if i had said/hurt anyone in this post. My intention is to tell ppl that they are trying their best. If you get to their office, you will understand what i mean.

what can i say... Sometimes the CS would get mad too... but never the less, they would still try to resolve your problem.. The tech guy is sitting near to the CS thus if he is there to help out those CS guy, you would get answer pretty quickly...

Dang... any plan to improve it? i.e., more towers to be built in USJ area?

BTW, any one tested the connection from Bandar Puteri, Puchong?
Probably because your laptop is using USB1.1 standard?
*
Bandar Puteri's signal is strong. THere is a tower there itself. but i don't know which part to be exact.

that is because some area, the line is very good. and some place, streamyx does not support and some wanted mobility where maxis/celcom is rather slow.

yup.... i understand what you are trying to say expertester... and i fully agree with you.... This is all due to excessive promoter in Lowyat? But anyhow, i still do hope that ppl don't whore p2p 24/7 la ofcourse... But frankly speaking... which ISP doesn't face this bandwidth issue? i believe each and everyone suffer from that... but they will boost it up in the future... but god knows when... Even the government promises to have Wimax within half year.... i wouldn't believe whatever the government says... So far, i don't have anyproblem with izzi since i use it from November.

cath, think on the positive side... if you had subscribed to maxis, you are tied with 18 month subscription... but izzi is refunding you if you are not satisfied..

first of all, i am not a staff. Though i work closely with izzi technical guy but i have no authority to ask them what to do.
Second of all, I would like to know how to see profiles for my own knowledge only.
3rd, i strongly suggest ppl to do a test run first before purchasing.
4th, as for the bandwidth becoming weak, i can do nothing about that except to ask them to lodge more report so that the CS would take it up to the management to consider building extra tower near the affected area.

I hope everyone that reads this understand where i am standing at.

you have just dug your own grave by disaffiliating yourself with izzi. why bother coming in here, talk so much but then claim "but i have no authority to ask them what to do"

talking hot air only, right?
i purchased izzi in October 2007 after testing it for several days using a media test kit. after being satisfied with the bandwidth, which back then, was the best among service providers, i purchased izzi. if you don't believe me then i can publish the contact number of the agent from achieva. I lodged a report, but the report was CLOSED by some 'Mr. Lim' WITHOUT notifying me, and reason of closure? problem solved. what problem solved?

that technical guy Mr. Lim CLEARLY doesn't know what he's doing.
the best part of all, you people who are clearly affiliated with the company can even deride me WITHOUT providing assistance, which should be the thing to do. Even TMNUTS' customer service does not do that, how crappy they are in the first place.

we understand where you're standing at, really. your position can be taken as small gas which blows HOT AIR that sees the problem, but does not bother rectifying it. instead, you come in the thread, all pompous and mighty. bah.

problem solved?

i'm wondering now wether its a standard operating procedure for izzi to 'solve' the problem then not tell the customer about it.

Hey there.... I DON"T GET PAID FROM IZZI. And it had been quite sometime that edwinlim had been posting here and he IS NOT THE TECHNICAL GUY.

You are one funny women. no... it should be funny lady. Do you know what you are talking about? its as if you are suffering from your tedious work. maybe you are still blur... posting sooo early in the morning. but don't you know that getting another base station is out sources to sub contractor? If your neck is sooo hard, perhaps you should drop by at izzi office and complain to them what your problem is and tell them that you will stay here untill the problem is solve. sweat.gif

I do not get commision from izzi. I do however get commision from other source. If you look in another point of view, you will never hear compliments from those people that are using it without any problem. Customers that are not satisfied with the service, could terminate it.

Cath, you subscribed to izzi in october, if you are not satisfied with the connection now, you could terminate it as its still within half year subscription. Though its 50% refund, its better than nothing as you've got good connection previously right? You've been pretty lucky that you've chosen izzi. If you had subscribed to other service provider, you are bound to pay for monthly subscription whether you liked it or not.

Added on March 26, 2008, 6:32 pmI am now in summit and the connection here is fine. so, i assume that connection in usj 1 is fine too.

wah, then why you so pat here? unless an irate subscriber is disturbing your rice bowl, then why you simply come in here and associate with you with the company?

your motives are getting suspicious  hmm.gif
*
there is absolutely no suspicion. i am here to see all sorts of complains and see if there is solution to it. If technical solution is needed, i can do nothing about it. But i might be of help sometimes. sweat.gif
