You guys werent in luck.
Its all depends on the area where your staying whether its congested or not.
I was staying in a good place and i get good speed, no problem with latency in online games *yeah i can Dota no lag*

=]
Thats why always do test run before subscribing it. If ur area suddenly get f*cked up by lots of users, just terminate it, switch to wired broadband.
*
nah... we did the test .... its ok on the start....

speed its really good for the 1st few month (i think for about 4 - 5 month)then the speed keep on degrading ...

at this moment we realize y the so called "Customer Satisfaction Assurance" they state there....... within 7 day >>> " 100% refund is not satisfy" .... "

so what ? they let you happy for the 1st few month , then reduce ur speed later, where at that time, even if u wan to refund, you might just get around 75 % or 50 % refunded..... this izzit company is smart, with their so called " unlimited usage" stated there, its clearly they are playing within the "grey area".....

and until final few month the speed is like OMG !!!! open website oso need wait for century !!!

keep on tahan for the few month, then switch bec to stremshet....

so, for those who newly/just subscribe for izzi, be happy for the 1st few month (around half a year like that), after that you'll understand what i'm talking about....

QUOTE(kwackers @ Feb 29 2008, 07:57 AM)
Ok, I'm curious to know if anyone has had a similar experience as I have:

I signed up with iZZi, and during the first week, the speed was fantastic.  But after the first week, my speed started dropping, to the point where it is now officially slower than what I used to get from Streamyx.

And I'm not even talking about torrents.  I'm just trying to surf the web and play Scrabulous on Facebook.  And I'm sitting here, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for the damned pages to load.

iZZi support has been pretty lousy.  I took screenshots of my bandwidth speed tests and sent it to them nearly a month ago.  Called a few times since then to follow-up, but they just keep saying that they've notified their tech people and they'll get back to me soon.

I've got 100% signal strength, and I got really good speed during my first week of subscription, so I doubt it's an issue with my location, the coverage area, or any of my network settings.  Nothing has changed.

I never thought I'd encounter a broadband provider crappy enough to make me consider going back to Streamyx, but here I am.

Comments?  Suggestions?

For me, of all the wireless broadband available, I think iZZi has the best offer..
Eventhough it has 700MB daily cap, u can free flow download at 2AM-6AM. That means you can get total 1Mbps per month for more than 30 gigs!!

iZZi Pro is a modem only.

If you want wifi sharing, you need a wireless router.

The different is:
iZZi One, Ex & You are mainly for single user & mobility.

iZZi Pro are for home user who wish to share their connection to few computers. (iZZi Pro have a better reception compare to other model.)

I only have used iZZi You modem for sales.

If you only connect to 1 pc, iZZi Pro --> PC/laptop (using lan cable or usb cable)

If you want sharing, iZZi Pro --> Wifi Router --> PCs/ laptops (using lan cable or wifi)

Hi been using IZZI for a year now, and considering to renew the acc, but been getting slower and slower speed.... last time can get 0.7-0.8Mbps which i consider quite good.... but slowly it turn to 0.5-0.6 and now after a year, left with usually 0.1-0.2, still can go up to 0.4 early in the morning.....

So just wondering if there is anyway to improve the speed, which me user can do? I try change several location within the house and is no use.....

Thank
