Dont say something that you dont know.

iZZi is based on iBurst technology. Not 3G/3.5G

The speed that you should get at least 600-700kbps.
Not 200kbps ++

When its izzi isnt capped, torrent should be able to reach max speed for 1mbps line.

Actually if for existing iZZi users who want to renew for 1 year subscription, better get a new izzione12 instead of reload 12 month and switch to use the new izzione12 account. This method are much cheaper for those who wan reload for 1 years biggrin.gif

You can check previous posts in this thread.

When i first subscribed iZZi, the speed was awesome. Was.
I get 1mbps speed as they promised. Torrent could reach 120kB/s when there's good seeders.

But since 5 month ago, iZZi got worse. Now my average speed is 400-500kbps not 1mbps. They even introduced Fair Usage Policy which allow you to use only 750mb bandwidth per day from 6am-2am.

The worse part is even with the FUP applied in daytime, the speed is still shitty. Whats the point they implement FUP then? At least put more towers :s

I suggest you replace your iZZi if you get shitty speed, cause i can assure you it wont get better soon.

Better get wired broadband than wireless cause most of em have fair usage policy except AMAX Wimax. Check whether your area is covered by AMAX.

Guys, to make your connections better, go call the iZZi hotline and ask them for the specific IP and DNS address.

Once you receive it, change the IP and DNS address for your iZZi LAN connection. I repeat, don't change the connection IP and DNS but change the iZZi LAN connection.

I did the change and suprisingly it seems that my connection was smooth all the way and it looks like I didn't get any cap.. (For the moment)

lol.

You can manually change the DNS setting via router.

Changing the DNS wont help you with the 750mb daily bandwidth. Once you hit it, your speed will be capped to 128 kbps.

iZZi DNS is based on Open DNS if im not mistaken.

Currently im using Verizon DNS.

Hello guys, wanna ask about something

Last night at around 10pm, I could not switch on my iZZi desktop terminal (Like no power supply was given), It was working in the afternoon before I switch it off and go for a movie.

And this morning i can use it again.

Any of you guys know whats going on ? Should I call my agent to check on the terminal ?

First, which package are u subscribe?12month or 6month package? If u are subscribe 12month package u have deal with ur seller b4/within 7day from ur purchase date and after 7day-6month u have to deal with iZZinet. For 6month package,u can only deal with ur seller because the policy for 6month package only valid for 7day. smile.gif
