wokey bro, go home OC again tongue.gif
Now looking forward to over 3G with brisby... but need to wait good cooler as over 3GHz with brisby need at least 1.4V sweat.gif then only can stable in orthos...

You're currently using 5000+ BE eh ? Still cannot reach 3GHz with stock HSF ? What multiplier are you using ?

Try getting a good cooler, then super fan from AG brows.gif
*
tongue.gif 3GHz I can reach, but yet, cannot pass orthos. If I want to OC above 3GHz with this brisby, need to add more vcore sweat.gif A burden for my proc that using only stock cooler rclxub.gif

Overkilled~~ On air you could get ThermalRight IFX-14 is enough for you to cool down your processor enough tongue.gif

Changed, yet still shows something like that, but if I insist to continue to windows even the message appear, it act normally, only everything will go back to default... means that the FSB = 200, etc etc...

5000+ BE can go up to 4Ghz and above lar...

Why not 3.3GHz?? Only need a better cooling on the proc.

wat bios d board is loaded with currently? try to flash to 0605, latest one are quite buggy to me. everything back to default becoz d system is unstable.  smile.gif

put htt to 200 and crank up d cpu multi. if not playin w multi buy b.e for wat...  tongue.gif
*
QUOTE(dblooi @ Feb 25 2008, 09:21 AM)
Drop your HT multiplier to 4X
Drop your ram divider.
change trfc to 195ns
it's either ram, HT Link or sub timings stop you
why don't you just remain everything, then push up the cpu multiplier only
since you're using 5000 BE, it has unlocked multiplier.
you can use this method to figure out what's the limit of your proc 1st without worrying your ram and your HT link icon_rolleyes.gif

p/s: it's not FSB, it's HTT. No such thing as FSB in am2 platform icon_rolleyes.gif
bro pws already explained it in earlier post
*
Wokey wokey, 2 big bro scolded me sad.gif tongue.gif joking lar... sweat.gif

@ ah_khoo,
You mean the old bios? Current one is the new one.. I think Biostar officially released 3 type only... I'll check it out later...
Btw, the reason i lowered my multiplier because I want to OC my RAM in stable status lar... Everytime over 3GHz and orthos fail.

tongue.gif since the start I already ignored my RAM OC and push my limit...
It's as same as reviewed stated.

Stock Vcore @ 3.1GHz (15.5X200)
Vcore +0.05 @ 3.2GHz (16X200)

Above than this I don't dare to try as I had only stock cooler sweat.gif Somebody, donate me some crappy cooler please notworthy.gif laugh.gif sweat.gif

Could you google up before reply laugh.gif

5000+ BE only have single batch and same chippy in Malaysia. Yet I'm unable to encountered different batch of BE.

3.1GHz with stock Vcore
3.2GHz with 1.36V-1.38V
3.3GHz with 1.42-1.45V

Yeah, I've mention, you need a good cooling. Else, Buy bulk and fried them one by one like french fries laugh.gif

go to rebelheaven's forum to download d 0605 bios.  wink.gif

since ur limited by ya coolin, u can:

- try to find how far ya chip can go w stock voltage.
- play w d cpu multi by not touchin d htt, oc sometimes are limited by high htt. by usin lower htt, u won't be hittin d wall so early.

ya ram is of wat chippies?  blink.gif

yea, i hav google up and i hope my be same as the one reviewed too. unfortunately, i can do 3.1ghz at stock orthos pass, 3.2 at 1.36V-1.38V but cant pass orthos.. the review can even pass 3.3ghz with crapy stock cooler.. what do u think?
*
Mind to show me the link where those review stated they pass orthos or prime???
laugh.gif So far, I see them can boot only, but never show me that they pass orthos or prime for god sake.

Oh yeah, 3.3GHz can boot up with 1.45V or above with stock cooler but you have to think about the temp. You can use, but it's not healthy.

Oh yeah, board play a parts of it as well...

1.5V couldn't do??
Either your board, or your proc got problem.
I could do that on air.. it's just kind of dangerouse using stock cooler.
supposely, 1.45V could touch 3.3GHz, it's just not stable...

The best was run Orthos or Prime + 2 X SuperPi 32M(for dual core) and so forth laugh.gif

That will ensure you @ safe level.

Lower Vcore for??? rclxub.gif

If you can't pass orthos, just add your vcore until you can pass.. just becareful with the temp or you'll end up a fried potatoe inside your rig.

sweat.gif Is it? But I tried before with my BE....
3.0Ghz above with stock Vcore... Can't pass orthos @ all...
Yet I tried to up to 1.40V and it pass smoothly....

3.1Ghz will need 1.45V to pass Orthos as well...

Above than that, I never dare to try as I'm using stock cooler... See if I get a nice air cooler and re-test again.. rclxms.gif hopefully can reach 3.5Ghz... tongue.gif
