Saw this while driving beside Endah Parade.
At first I thought Endah parade was on fire, since the big fire truck is on standby.
Guess i was a bit late to catch the action.



The owner of the car as seen in the 2nd picture was sobbing....
His car will never be the same again..

it just goes to show that fire will start in any make of car. from a brand new proton... to a used bimmer...

just have to be careful, but somethings cannot be prevented

seems like an E39, pre-Chris Bangle era
didn't bother to check the whole car, just passing by

As seen in 2nd pic, I can only estimate a big fire since it also burnt the railing in front of the car

Walao... Endah Parade... where I used to spend my weekend dinner + evening shopping + browsing gunpla at Aunty Lenny's shop. Good old memories.

What a pity, such a gorgeous E39 ended up in flames. The flames looked really big as the railings got smoked as well, but the car beside seemed ok so probably no explosions
Hope the owner got some fire insurance for his Beemer.

aiyo, last time gt a BMW spilt apart becoz it was flying and hit a tree, long ago someone snap a pic of a 5 series in junk yard due to accident, and now a 5 series burning???

y it catch on fire?? is it the owner simply park his car at the wrong place then other ppl set the fire??

hehe... good excuse but I'm not carrying any DSLR to point and shoot at him.

From the orientation of the car, I guess the fire started while the car is driven.
You can clearly see the beemer coming in/out of the parking box.
If the engine bonnet is open, i might get closer to inspect the details or how much damage has been done.

The funny thing is, the owner only manage to save the umbrella, out of all things

aiya is nothing....bmw is still a car....
it will happen to any car also....
they didn't claim tat that car will not caught on fire also...
i think the problem will happen in 2 situation....
1. not regularly maintain his car ...
2. re corndition car....
shame on the driver only....
didn't maintain well such a nice car....
