nonononono.... presence speaker must be outside the Front channel area. The main objective of presence speakers is to enhance/adds extra ambiance/effects to further extend the sound field from your normal 5.1/7.1 setup. So, If you put those presence in area of FR/FL speakers, the objective not met.

but be mindful that if u only able to use presence ON = surr OFF or presence OFF = Surr ON. Unless u hav ol' mighty Z11.

depends on your target and current capabilities of your speakers.

if u want latest techies, u have BD player, and you could say 'future-proof' AVR, go for 663.

if u only have DVD player and only wants to play DVD for the rest of your life, that 361 is a reasonable choice.

but i recommend go for 663.

other than night & day diff from legacy audio codecs,

its like, when u feel so tired, coming back from work, get in your HT room, switch the AVR and other equipments on, and play. then u'll say 'This is life!'

you already work your ass off then repay yourself by experiencing HD sounds
