I went with Mayflower to Europe. I don't see them advertising often, only during Matta Fair.
My trip with Mayflower, I have written it down here: http://deliciousbeautiful.blogspot.com
Matta fair is coming soon, maybe you might get some good deals from travel company.
Anyone else tried Mayflower before? Did you have good experience with them?

Depends on which part of Europe, you would like to go, another company offering to Sweden, Norway and other countries is Apple Holidays.
I have tried Reliance before, some how I feel that they are a bit expensive.

Reliance abit pricy..but nowadays I don't think so you wanna risk it by joining cheaper companies biggrin.gif
Especially news after news about tour companies running off money collected for Europe tours.

Apple tour...I heard many good reviews from friends about this company....might try them next time.

Hi.

Planning to join a tour to Japan this March to see sakura.

I found out that most travel agents use Mandarin as the language for the tour.

I am not good in Mandarin..so i prefer to join a Japan tour(in English language)..

Apple Holiday uses Mandarin only and no translation provided.

As for Reliance, they have bilingual (English and Mandarin)..yea..i guess thats why its more expensive?

I thought Apple Holidays ( and some other travel agents)provide tour in English since they advertise in English....hmmm...too bad..

guess have no other choice (since most travel agents only provide tour in mandarin )but to go Reliance.

Does anyone know other travel agent that provide tour to Japan in English language?

Depend. Just check the advert & also call them for info.

Normally if they mention:

1) Tour package - meaning inclusive of everything but you need to chk the itineraries as entrance fee might not be included, & also dinner
2) Ground arrangement - This one exclude air fare.
3) From RMXXX.XX only....meaning just like Air Asia & MAS promotion...u can only get this rate only on selected date. Once the date fulfilled the advertisement is as good as "nothing"

The 3rd one is the one I really hate whenever I visit Matta fair!! BTW I hv stopped going to Matta fair....eg..Advertised from RM499 to Bali....when I further checked...They will tell me Oh that one finished already...Currently we are selling at RM799 & after handling & admin, the price will be RM1000 each....chee sing!! mad.gif

Don't bother joining Reliance for China tours.

I had gone with a group for one of the tours recently. The tour guides don't bother to wait for those at the back, and for everyone to regroup for briefing. Thus those at the back are at a lost. (e.g at every stop they would give us sometime to use the restrooms, but if there's a long queue, ..oh well, you'll need to gather information from the rest of the group). The tour guides don't bother waiting. Even at the airports during our plane transit, they just zoom off, expecting everyone to follow.

And they practically rushed you off from one stop to another, unless its those factories which they bring you to in which they get commission if you buy something, then you can take your own sweet time. Other than that, they just start chasing you and rushing you off from one stop to another. Case in point, our bus stopped at the highway to everyone to use the restroom. At the highway, there's a shop selling some food, and everyone was lingering around for awhile for, food tasting and paying for them, and the tour guide just start rushing everyone off. Because our next stop is to another factory in which they can get their wallets fattened.

And this is no ordinary tour. The whole trip booked by a company as a reward for their suppliers/dealers. In which, we can change the iternary or duration as we please.
