You might be able to look for old stock Momo Racing wheel at shops where they don't sell much. Few months ago, I saw tons of these wheel in Midvalley and they were selling for 2xx. Last I checked they were gone already. Luckily I got mine biggrin.gif

I never thought of warranty for wheels, maybe they have at least 1 year. My Logitech gaming mouse, G500 has 3 year warranty. Anyhow, I play my wheel everyday, no sign of problem due to wear and tear. It's durable gaming product, for gamers.

I hunt the entire Lowyat and Imbi (every single floors) and can't find any. I wanted to pay a visit to Mid Valley and Sunway but then I decided to go with Driving Force GT, 20 buttons for me to program almost any actions I want LOL tongue.gif

What game are you playing? Basically just switch to auto transmission and the clutch and H shifter will be rendered useless smile.gif

hey guys

interested in getting a racing wheel setup to enhance my racing games experience. Any advice for a newbie?

-what wheel to get? (budget 200?)
-which game? (rfactor the best?)
-anything else i should be looking out for...
*
Budget RM200, look for secondhand Logitech Momo in garage sales
Which game? - depends on you, more arcade style - NFS series
More simulation style - rFactor

G27 is too expensive to me... about 1k... gonna break my wallet... but any problem so far for the driving force GT?
*
Using it, so far no problem, except that after playing for hours with FFB effect, my muscles are numb already tongue.gif

QUOTE(logit85 @ Sep 28 2010, 08:53 PM)

*
Same

QUOTE(RaydianS @ Sep 28 2010, 09:15 PM)

*
Of course it will, just that the harder the spring, the more 'control' over sensitivity that you get

G25 still sold kah?? if got, how much does it cost? I also want to get 1 wheel just for the sake of F1 2010 biggrin.gif
*
Doubt so, replaced by G27, the only reason you would want a G25 is if you want the sequential shift

My G25 still running solid even after daily bashing. G27 is just as solid with better motor. But it can be a lil bit on the noisy side. Doesnt matter if ure on headphones tho.

Inside SimRacing take on PS3 version. They pointed out the Shaun's G27 making some sound hehehe.

*
Yeap, G27 is less noisy as it uses 'helical' gear

QUOTE(Matrix @ Oct 3 2010, 07:48 AM)
I've bought a Logitech Driving Force Wireless one or two weeks ago....G27 was way out of my budget, Momo no stock....

But this is actually for PS3/PS2....it can run on PC but i can't say really 100% compatible....there's no instruction at all for the PC, so i downloader the Logitech profiler for the G27 and other PC racing wheels. It seems to work, but have this problem of the left/right paddle acting funny and go into auto-reverse. I managed to set the profiler to somewhat fix this, but it warns me i can't do drifting or something by using the brake/accelerator simulataneously....

Anyone using this racing wheel for PC??? sad.gif
*
No leh, why didn't you get Driving Force GT?

Bought wrongly...didn't see the Driving Force GT also....haiz..... cry.gif

Try to sell it off ASAP le, not worth buying a product if it gives you so much trouble.

Btw guys, I have a question to ask.

When I play F1 2010 - I set the degrees of rotation to 270 degrees but I want it to set back to 900 degrees when I play NFS Shift. Can the Logitech Profiler do this?

Yes, you can even use the steering wheel as a gamepad, press the honk button for punch, pedal to spring, brake to walk backwards, pedal to jump.

Itulah, everyday play. You'll slowly start to wonder on those nice G25/27. Crap... It's poisoning my mind. H-shifter and cluth wor... Should I? tongue.gif

You use the clutch / H shifter anot first? Ironically many people use the clutch pedal as a brake pedal, less strain on their legs.
