Turtle Bale
Tortoises need a lot of quality fiber and low levels of plant proteins in their diets. One of the healthiest items we can offer to your tortoises are good quality hays.
The Turtle Bale is 50% Fresh Bermuda grass + 50% Fresh Timothy Hay.
Turtle bales are available in (Free Shipping) : 1kg RM35 & 2Kg RM60

Good clean[size=5]Timothy Hay is the most important part of a rabbit, guinea pig, chinchillas or other small animals' diet. The indigestible, fiber helps ensure that food moves through the digestive tract at the right rate. The action of chewing on the hay helps keep their constantly growing teeth in shape.

The greener the hay, the more chlorophyll it contains and the more minerals. Good hay also contains the vitamins A, D and E although these deteriorate during storage. The browner hays have more vitamin D from being in the sun but less nutritional value. You can tell good hay from the smell and feel. It is clean and dust free with a sweet fresh smell to it.

Alfalfa Hay
is a high-fiber legume forage hay. It differs from grass hays such as timothy, orchard grass and oat in the leaf, stem, and root structure. Alfalfa Hay is legume hay and the protein, calcium and energy content are higher than in grass hay. Alfalfa Hay is an outstanding feed for young animals. It contains more crude protein, digestible energy, and calcium levels than any other forage. In addition, it has the fiber content needed for normal digestive functioning. Alfalfa provides the essential calcium necessary for growing bones. Alfalfa is also a source of important minerals, including phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, zinc and selenium.

Alfalfa Hay used carefully, in certain situations, it can be a valuable tool in nutritional management. Alfalfa Hay can be used as an appetite stimulant when an animal is ill. Because it is high in fiber, a small pinch can be given as a treat.

Bermuda Grass provides a natural alternative source of fiber for rabbits and other small animals. Bermuda grass is a high fiber, high quality hay that aids in the natural digestive process of small pets. Feeding Bermuda grass will encourage a pet's natural foraging instinct. Compressed Bermuda grass is easy to feed and creates less mess. Pet's love variety, which helps to stimulate their senses.

you put in coldest place in your house, not on the floor, but on shelf. should be last 2-3 months.

Turning pale green it meants dropping nutriiton value, but fiber and chewing value is 100% still there. You should know how long to take you finish the amount of hay you purchase. Too wasted not good, SAVE hay by given little even worst. Not to hard sell, if you know why your pet need hay, and you will know what to do. smile.gif

Is because the store been keeping them too long(in warehouse)and IN WARM place. My hay keep in my Chins' room which is 19c ALL DAY. You can ask some of the rabbit/GP forum ppl who had bough from me the Alfalfa King brand timothy hay, see what their said. blush.gif

Secondly, you can try my latest hay 2nd cut timothy hay. 1st cut mean is it first harverst and nutrition value and fiber value have difference compare with 2nd cut. 2nd cut mean 2nd harvest from the SAME PLANT. 2nd cut will have more leaf andd less seed head which 99% of small animal love to eat a lot of it. I will also encourage you to read/google/yahoo about the importancy of feeding hay to small animal and understand the usage of 1st and 2nd cut timothy hay.

Not to hard sell, you can try my hay and see how is your rabbit/PET respond. smile.gif

Huh....err... Look like 1kg. sweat.gif

1kg can sustain 1 month or less for a adult GP/Rabbit by feeding daily a handful, if your pet is a hay eater, you can go bigger bag. smile.gif

no need to store hay in the fridge and it wont work to keep fresh in that way.

You just need to put the hay high, not on the ground, poke holes on the plastic bag, and keep in the coolest place in your house will do.

Deducting? I don't get you. All hay price is included shipping charges no matter where you are, either in Selangor, Johor, or Pinang, even is 6kg above for self pick up, all price is nett. smile.gif

I can only tell 3-10 working days as Pos malaysia told me. But for all buyer in KL or Penang or Johor, they get the parcel within 2-4days AFTER the parcel posted out. Still, I can't control the time frame of pos malaysia to delivery, but I have to tell you to expect 3-10 working days after parcel begin send. smile.gif

I pack it as usual, all parcel sending out using the same type of wrapping method, nothing change, maybe the postman is rough on the handling from place to place. Will improve on wrapping method. smile.gif

Yes, you need to close it each time after you feed them. You can also manual poke few holes on the plastic, so have more air.

Is your gp an Adult? you should be able to keep the hay in good condition for few month with placing in cold or ventilated area. OR you can share with few friends who keep pet and get a bigger bag with lower price. blush.gif

This have to depend on your creativity, some ppl using timothy hay as bedding for their pets. But for animal like chinchilla or rabbit, using hay as bedding is not encourage.

Good cleanTimothy Hay is the most important part of a rabbit, guinea pig, chinchillas or other small animals' diet.

Hi Kaoru,
I am glad your receive your hay is such happiness. biggrin.gif

Basically you can mix your bermuda grass with timothy hay just like people selling rojak, mix it, goreng abit, then serve to your GP. Mixture can be vary from your GP need, mix 70%tim + 30% bermuda for the beginning, then adjust according to what your GP tell you. smile.gif

hahahah, your officemate have just found a new JOB! Maybe you can suggest them to start harvesting grass at the field and start selling, with that they can resign from the job and be a boss ! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

hello there, can Pm some info regarding on guidelines on how to feed hay to my rabbits?
i've bought alfalfa king's alfalfa for em...
but its going to finish soon...
after that gonna get from you..lol...
ur hays seems so green..fresh..haha..
thanks for the info by the way..
this is how i feed them currently, correct me if i'm wrong as i'm just a newbie..
i put in a handful of hay in a container and let them nibble till i come back from class which is around 5 sumthing or less than that, and i also fill some rabbits pallet for them in another container, its like i'm feeding them constantly,i'm confused...
should i only feed them 3 times a day?or leave the food inside and let them enjoy?
i'm really confused about this matter...and my rabbits is around 3-4 month old..
mind to share with me your knowledge?
and which type of hay should i buy for em?
i'm glad to know that..thanks...

hello there, can Pm some info regarding on guidelines on how to feed hay to my rabbits?
i've bought alfalfa king's alfalfa for em...
but its going to finish soon...
after that gonna get from you..lol...
ur hays seems so green..fresh..haha..
thanks for the info by the way..
this is how i feed them currently, correct me if i'm wrong as i'm just a newbie..
i put in a handful of hay in a container and let them nibble till i come back from class which is around 5 sumthing or less than that, and i also fill some rabbits pallet for them in another container, its like i'm feeding them constantly,i'm confused...
should i only feed them 3 times a day?or leave the food inside and let them enjoy?
i'm really confused about this matter...and my rabbits is around 3-4 month old..
mind to share with me your knowledge?
and which type of hay should i buy for em?
i'm glad to know that..thanks...

Hi Heng,
Sure, I will PM you the basic guideline for feeding hay.

Since your rabbit is about 3-4 months, he need alfalfa hay and timothy hay. Hay should be 24/7 available in the cage, mean unlimited. Do not with hold hay or control hay amount to your rabbit, they need it badly. For the pellet, yes, you need to control feed amount for rabbit. Your package of pellet should have written the simple instruction for you to estimate feeding amount to your rabbit. You can also come to Rabbit Thread to join us, many experience owner in there, you will learn alot and grow together as a rabbit family with them. smile.gif

Hey, confused about your shipping matter.

Your thread title is
[WTS]Premium Quality Timothy Hay & Alfalfa Hay, Free Shipping! Bermuda Grass is here! (Pets)

But you include
REMINDER AGAIN--->The Price already INCLUDED shipping cost TO ANY WHERE OF MALAYSIA.

Free shipping but shipping price included?

Or it actually mean, shipping price is included, just that the price is standard throughout Malaysia?

thx~

You can stick to 2kg, 3kg may last you too long to stay fresh for your 2 months old GP. smile.gif You can mix 1kg Timothy or orchard grass.

heh heh, can mix wan ah? like mix bermuda + timothy + orchard? i wanna buy 2 kg for my rabbits. if cannot mix then any suggestion which 1 is better? they usually eat timothy hay but they have eaten bermuda and orchard before as well but i stopped buying that coz the 1s from kaytee are very loose and hence alot of wastage.

edit: oh nvm, i already placed order for bermuda for now. smile.gif but u can still recommend smile.gif

Hi all,

Purchased a few kinds of hay from CHINCHILLAS a few weeks ago, and also a box of premium chinchilla pellets. The hays were of the best and freshest that i have seen around in klang valley.
No regrets on my purchase and i highly recommend him for hay and pellet purchases. Thanks to his recommendation on the pellet, my chinchilla is really loving the pellets now.

Hi Chinchillas,

I want 3kg of hay. But want to mix Timothy and Orchard Grass, will the price be RM58 as well? If yes, I'd like to put an order to get hay ASAP.

Hi Shinne,
Orchard is not available for now.

Hay cannot be mix to count for the weight. Hay price stand on individual.

Ah okay. Then I would like 2kg Timothy. When will the new stock for Orchard Grass arrive? Barney loves Orchard grass... he downs it faster than Timothy. Do PM me your account number. Preferably Standard Chartered but Maybank also can.

Cheers

Your rabbit is still very young, you need to let them have milk from the mother AND SUPPLEMENT the alfalfa hay for them to start eating hay. Your idea should be feeding the month with alfalfa hay as well. You can start with 1kg. The minimum weight already listed on the first page, is 1kg. smile.gif

You can also feed Pro Optimum Premium Rabbit Food for optimum health for your young rabbit's growth.

I have pm you the payment details. You can choose either Bale or Chopped hay. I can't eastimate the amount of your tortoise will finish the hay. 2kg seem need 2-3 months to finish for that size of tortoise.

Hi kemek,
The hay package whether is open or still sealed, you can keep for 2 months in good condition. Buy as how much your GP will eat per month or 2 month max. Young GP offer more alfalfa to them, adult GP you can mix feed. 90% tim + 10% alfalfa daily.

3kg mean single purchase. Not 1kg tim + 1kg alf + 1kg bermuda, is 3kg tim, 3kg alf....

Price included shipping charges to anyway within Peninsular Malaysia.

O..

The packing is 3kg packing in single, however due to the promotion, the packing will be 4kg IN SINGLE packing, not separated. if you want seperate per kg, 1kg RM28. smile.gif

Usually 2-7 working reach you after post, depend how effective is your local pos office.

When the farmer baling the hay, this cannot be avoided, sometime grass hopper and dried grass, dried insect, wild flower is normal found in hay, because the hay grow without insecticide. Even is your chin eat it, nothing going to be happen. Unless you found dried rat in the hay, then you need to be worry. shakehead.gif

Hi, I have recieved my goods: Sun Cured Timothy Hay 6kg(212 oz), 2 packs of Hagen Guinea Pig Pellet 5lbs, Woody Pet Porfessional Animal Bedding 13.6 kg.

The packaging of the hay is very, very good and it's easy for storing. The driver also called me half an hour before he arrived.

Very nice dealing with you. Will deal with you in the future. thumbup.gif

Hi,

I would like to make an order for AlfHay0001 Chubby Pets Garden - Sun Cured Alfafa Hay 2kg(71oz) but before I confirm my order I have some questions about the delivery.

1) How long does it roughly take (in days) for my order to reach my house? I'm currently staying in Seri Kembangan 43300, Selangor.

2) Is it possible that my order is delivered on a Saturday? This is because I'm a student and I have classes from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. I'll only be at home the whole day on Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks!
