Brazil losing 2-3 to italy at 1982 quarter-final , heart breaking and still feel it now . that brazilian team is probably the most entertaining and playing the most beautiful football i've ever known

other than that , man utd winning the winning the treble in 1999 and the penalties at this year champions league against chelsea final really make my blood pressure running high and low in split seconds

why do man utd always have to leave it so late to win

like ManUtd nvr win CL through PKS...
eventually a defense mistake which allows Lampard to go through WITHOUT ANY CHALLENGES, and tap it in for the equalizer !!!

comeback from liverpool is marvellous...

I would like to know what moments bring a tear to your eye know matter how many times you watch it. Whether it's an amazing achievement of a national team, a club team, a player; what is it that makes you wanna reach for the tissues. It is not necessary to be a team you support, just an amazing achievement by something, or someone. When i say brings a tear to your eye, it doesn't have to literally, but i'm sure you know the feeling i mean.

Although there were many tragic and memorable moments throughout my 16 years as a United fan, one moment stands tall and really made me sad and cry.

10th February 2008. Man United vs Man City. 50th years after the Munich Tragedy.

It was a very very touching moment to see both sets of fans holding their banners during the 1 minute silence.

The reason why I decided to follow this club was when I read about this sad history and how the players and Sir Matt rose up 10 years after the tragedy to win that big fat pot.

I've just finish reading Sir Bobby Charlton's Biography and it was very touching to read from one of the survivors who was in the plane that crashed 50 years ago on the whole story of the tragedy. How it made him changed and caused his estranged relationship with his mother and his older brother Jack Charlton (he said the tragedy made Sir Bobby a changed man..). So it was a very sad tragedy and seeing the tribute really touched me. And how badly it effected the United players when they lost focus a bit and lost to City (amazing.. first time after almost how many years since the lost to City at Old Trafford).

Put a tear in my eye as well. Seeing the scarfs and banners set up by both sets of fans. Despite our very well-known and intense rivalry we managed to overlook our differences and come together to honor those who tragically died in the Munich air crash. There was only one victor that night, and that was UNITY. Add to that our Champions League win, which commemorated with the 50th year after the tragedy. I swear to God I saw Duncan Edwards and co. there giving Terry a shrug when he was taking his penalty.
