new firmware improved percentage of hang and add a new application called "demo" which i uninstalled after i found it..performance?? didnt feel any different..camera still the same..

i did that a while ago. but this time when i updated i didnt back up using pc suite. for some reason the phone wouldnt sync with the comp. so i just backup to my memory card. so the problem occurs when backing up huh. i will test this next time.

well i only back up the contacts to the memory card. i do this through the phone not with the pc. you just open up contacts>>more>>contact manager>>backup.

i usually do like this. cause sync. with pc is a bit moody.

i have tat problem with my W850i and now my G900 i am also facing the same problem.  I can connect using the file transfer mode but phone mode just don't work.  I am pretty tired with all this niggling problem with SE software.

plus. are you sure you wanna install stuff before you even start using the phone? must tinker with the phone for a few days first. otherwise if something goes wrong you would have no idea. heheh. such as lag. plus. you should update the phone first too. if you install all the stuff. when you update it'll all be deleted.

what software you using right now???

probably your battery problem. unless you are a heavy user. also. what eats up the battery is :

1. wifi is enabled. (doesnt matter if you using it or not)
2. 3G is enabled.
3. bluetooth is enabled.

when i use my phone it lasts around 2-3 days without charging. with wifi on it every 24 hours or so i gotta charge.

i use to talk on the phone like just now 30% and talk around 30 min jump to 15% and sunddenly off my phone.

yeah 2-4 days is reasonable. right now im in china so i dont use my phone much at all. except for like alarm and the occasional sms. lasts around 3-4 days.... one day is just ridiculous. must be a battery problem im guessing.

battery update. i used the phone to take photos (i went to beijing hooters  )and sent a few sms's

my battery after 50hrs is at 65%

just now i checked SEUS, no new update available..but i wonder why my CDA is 1210-0066 R7A while some people is R5A..

yeah G900 apparently they have locked this feature and you are unable to change or customise icons.

you can try that. the SE customer service said to plug in the IP address straight into your phone. but no one knows how to get the IP address for places like starbucks. heh.
