hmmm. i dont think it is super competitve anymore. you could also check out the digital mall in pj if you dont wanna go so far out. they are quite decent too. i think the AP price is around or less than rm1000 already. or so i read somewhere on LYN. might be a mistake though. but yeah.

i'm having a question :

Just bought G900 last weekend. I'm using hotlink, my reception signal look very bad at anywhere ( KL, USJ ). Only red 1 ( bar ), sometime yellow ( 2 bar ).
Blue signal for GPRS is perfect in blue. 3G signal shown next to it. ( It's activated and i can make video call )
When sometimes no 3G signal, then only the reception signal show in blue ( 3 bar - 5 bar )

Is that mean when 3G signal received, then reception signal will be low? Of course i still can call out and making calls with 2 bars.

Do yours got this problem?

When i put this sim card into my old K800, everything was good. So not the sim problem.

I have try to put Digi into G900, signal also good, but never activate the GPRS/MMS setting.

I have tried to go to Settings>Connectivity>Mobile Network
search mode : Automatic
More : Select GSM/3G networks > GSM and 3G ( This is default setting, should be no problem )
When i select GSM, the signal will be refresh and the reception signal will be good. But then i will not able to use 3G. So the setting should be use GSM and 3G by default.

At home also 1 to 2 bar signal. ( with 3G appear )
Do you mean your signal bar also low when 3G appear?

so every 1 using G900 with Hotlink 3G activated will have this "problem", right?
Not my phone set or firmware problem, right?
And not maxis problem also, right?

hmm i should try this too actually. since im in china i always get sms;s from the telcos. but always see KOTAK KOTAK KOTAK KOTAK! KOTAK? hahah stuff like that.

when i got the phone, it does hang but not very often.  after my first update, everything was fine.  i only remember once or twice i need to reset.  now that i have update again, i got my phone hang, my phone gone totally mute and few other niggling issue.  kinda regret i updated my phone a few weeks back.

I kinda notice different ppl will have different experience.  some will be ok, some will be not.  you update, you take the risk.

you can try to look for CorePlayer 1.2.5.

cannot..even screen saver also no use..the phone still will turn it standby after the screen saver..

all the brands touch screen also not good..the Apple Iphone is the best...for me, G900 touch screen its ok, it not very sensitive and very sensitive..ordinary..and fast response..the major cons of this phone is the camera...if you compare among 5MP phone, G900 is the worst, but for me, camera is not very important, as long as it can take then enough..
in this phone, it come with a software called "quickoffice" which can read and edit .doc/.ppt/.xls...

sure? i just tried once video recording only..can upload and share it? really want to know how good is it..for camera, people said bad, but for me, its depends how you take it, technique is there..
