QUOTE(heatblast @ Oct 10 2008, 02:40 PM) mine only takes 2min only.. but i'm not sure..Care to rephrase that as it doesn't make sense? It takes me 1 minute from cold boot for XP. Cold boot: Power off -> Power on -> Login (Automatic login).

my recommendations... just let a daily program use to be load at startup, if u hav a prog that u didnt use much, just disable it from startup...
u know ur comp better than others... just do what u think is right...

1-2minutes i guess...need to detect 1 ide hdd, 1 sata hdd, memory card reader and webcam. the ide makes it boot really slow, previously less than 1minutes. This post has been edited by amerz: Nov 11 2008, 06:47 AM

it seems dat if i'm using vista inspirat 2, the boot time will be much faster. and if i'm going to shutdown, it's also faster than using normal xp. i'm not doing any timing but i have the feeling it's way faster than xp.
