and can tahan about 2 month with closed all profit....
and can hold until -2000 pip....

money management...thats all..

becoz..u play GJ... and i saw from ur screenshot that u only play that pair... u should know when to cut loss.. .. not juz waiting it to turn back... and gj really volatile.. try other pair.. although it not move so fast as gj at least u get profit a little.. 20 pip TP more worth than -50 pips...

ppl always think to get faster pips.. play GJ but instead they lose while ppl that play other pair although they not gaining as many pips as GJ at least it's a profit


with higher leverage u can open more lot la....it doesn't matter either 100:1 or 500:1.. it all about money management... if u on 100:1 u can open 5 lot only.. when u on 500:1.. u can still open 5 lot only dun be so greedy open more than that juz becoz u can open more lot... againn.. it all about money management and how greed are u

if 100:1 leverage u can open 5 lot.. maybe 500:1 u can open more lot than that.. higher leverage the lower margin it takes from ur equity for each lot u open..

example..

1:100 .. if u open 1 lot .. it will take 1000 usd from ur equity
1:200... if u open 1 lot... it will take 500 usd from ur equity
1:500 ...if u open 1 lot... it will take 200 usd from ur equity

see higher leverage more lower margin it take from ur equity for each lot u open...ppl want higher leverage becoz wanna open more lot and higher .. it juz like when ppl said.. dun buy faster car.. u can get accident more easier.. although it depend on ur style of driving..either driving bmw or proton saga..

Added on March 27, 2008, 10:24 amno u not... u get margin call becoz u are too greedy with mindset open more lot u can get richer quicker... in leverage 100:1 also u get margin call.. in leverage 500:1 also u get margin call..

but then it come to money management as well...

for me..
the more risky you playing, the more profitable it be...
when playing GJ...u must be 70% - 90 % sharp to read the FA +TA...
when it react differently....then BOOM!

when u playing standard account..with so so capital...GJ was not the right platform to trade for...unless u have big capital...
for me also..when playing standard account..definitely, i will not go for GJ...better play EU or other pair that not so volatile...

wanna as basic q..

let say i make a BUY entry for GU at 1.8000, SL = 50pips (1.7950), TL = 25pips

Then the price rises up to 1.8010.. so i win 10 pips..

What will happened to my SL?

Will it be

a) shifted to 1.7960 (which is 1.7950 + 10 pips)*
b) shifted to 1.7985 (which is 1.8010 - 25 pips)

*for a), will the SL shifted based on pips won and after the SL level > entry price then the SL will shifted based on TL (current price - TL value)?

if u play TP...

let say u open trade at 200.00
set TP 30 pip
it will start when u get + pip
if it touch 200.50, ur new stop lost will be 200.20..
and it will change according to your +pip
if it go to 200.70..then your SL will be at 200.40...and so on so on...

im not so sure when u placing SL....maybe someone can help us too...

hey bros, can anyone explain what is the meaning of rollover charges please?

as far as i know, if i play with a pair consisting usd in it, the broker will help me close the pair comes gmt 10pm (because US market closes at gmt 10, pls correct me if i m wrong)... if happens that i am having a -ve floating p/l during that particular time, then i will end up losing money rite?

can anyone explain more to me regarding rollover? does rollover exist in every broker? i asked a friend of mine, he said that only some of the brokers require rollover whilst some don't....

will appreciate much for the advice and explanations.. thanks alot guys...
