poltekfx is from Belize. seem like a small company. i wonder they have physical office location or not. But the micro lots seem attractive. And they ask people to use Skype to contact them?

Hi all sifu here...
i listened to ur advice and read thru babypips.com..
and now playing on the fx practise version... as suggested by them..

i have a question... which is regarding the interest...
how does it apply ?
issit if i leave it there overnite.. they will charge the interest on the total amount?

thanks in advance...
*
charge the interest based on the amount of that position you open.
you will earn interest if you go long on higher interest/lower interest-- xxx/yyy pair and have interest deducted if you long on lower interest/higher interest pair.
vice versa for short position.

ermm... i just dun understand where it applies...
they did mention that will charge..
but doesnt gif example..

like ermm.. if 20 lots.. = $200000.. margin required is only maybe $4k..
so the service charge will be on $200000 ? or on $4k..
huge difference..
*
i think like this lar.
lets say your own money is 1000, after leverage is 100,000
then let say they charge interest 1%, (god know how many days) so mean you got deducted 10 from your actual money or 1000 from your leveraged omoney.

eh i think again, it might be the other way round. 1% deducted from your leveraged 100,000 means u got deducted 1000 from your account. huhuhu

yea yea...i agree with u...

for the moment my indicator was ok...but need to add Fibo indicator...
try searching at forexfactory....got a lot...but still searching for the best one and 'eye candy' a little bit....

u can always change the color of the indicator that people made. Use meta editor to open the indicator. Then replace any colour name with different colour name that you like. And press the compile button.

very simple actually. i used to think its very hard, but then i tell myself if i am going to stare at this thing day after day, might as well make it look 'pleasant' for myself.

i guess northfinance is ok if you invest less than 10,000. more than that, is quite risky.

Hi there all,

I am also just getting into the game of FOREX, so for now will still be reading up on the necessities, but meanwhile I am researching which 'broker firm' is better to go with?

Is the local Capital Holdings any good? And if i were to used sites like ODL and all, their withdrawal methods are good and fast enough (i.e. electronic bank transfer)?

Thanks for all the info guys!
*
If i got more than US5000, i will go for ODL Securities. They have 30 pairs as well as oil, silver, gold. Although their min to open account is US2000, but they dont offer micro lots.

Less than that amount i would go for IBFX.

Dunno about Capital Holdings, but isnt local forex broker are illegal?

Added on March 20, 2008, 1:53 ammy metatrader dun hav fibonacci retracement of 123.6%/138.2%/150%

how to add this o?
*
first u draw fibs on your chart.
then right click the chart, select object list, and double click the 'fibo'
then u can add it at 'fibo levels' there.

U can also make it to show the price on the fib lines.
To do this, add (%$) on the description.

Example;
Level - 0.382
Description - 38.2(%$)

QUOTE(db86 @ Mar 23 2008, 02:46 AM)
yeah.. i do trust this friend of mine.... he showed me the statement before.. and average profit per month is around 15 percent of the overall capital....

but i do notice that most of the trades are only close after few days time... around 2 to 3 days....

waiting so long to close a trade is not wise isn't it? we lose out a lot of chance to trade for pairs that have more volatile movement....

would like to have some advice.. thank you guys smile.gif

My trades also ranging between 2-5 days. sometimes i even carry it over the weekend when it was in profit.

But of course, the risk must be small. sometimes my risk is 250 pips and i gained 800 pips. but its the same as risking 2 pips for 8 pips.
