Yep from lomo crewz..he just sent it today should arrive by tomorrow/wed..really wanted to get a nice looking walk around bag..considered billingham but way outta budget.okay will post more pics with my gear in it along with a noobie user review tongue.gif

@uncontrolled, search for lomo crewz on Facebook, they have a few bags like this but I prefer this one..they also have a billingham imitation bag which I considered getting but don't have the color I want

just got the bag. 1st thing i realized when i got the bag was that the package was really, kinda small. then when i opened it, as expected, it is quite small lol. this is with all my current gear in it now

user posted image

canon 60d + tamron 17-50 non-vc attached, at the other compartments its my samang 8mm fisheye + nissin di622 II. i doubt that it can fit a big flashgun like 580ex or di866 cuz when i put in my flash its already quite tight. probably if you're planning to go and walk around during the day it should be fine. it can fit another prime, 50mm f/1.8 or 1.4 and that's about it. there's no room for my strap though (i'm using a capa Q strap, which is quite thick). i'm pretty sure it can fit the normal wide neck strap as its quite thin compared to the capa q strap. it can definately not fit a grip unless you remove the lens and fit it vertically. then put the lens in the other compartment then its fine.

in conclusion? this bag is good if you don't plan to bring alot of gear with you for the day. and it looks good too (don't judge the bag by the pics above, i'll attached another pic below. took the pics with my ipad and the IQ sucks tongue.gif) the bag costs around RM150 for those interested. you can look for Lion Wai or LOMO-CREWZ on facebook (that's where i got my bag from). but don't get the bag if you're looking for a big bag to fit your 70-200s or 2 bodies. this is strictly for walkabout only. even when i put my 60d inside facing down, it stretches the bag out abit. if you have the budget, i suggest that you go for the billingham hadley pro or something that size.

it depends on your gear. since you have 7MDH already, its already quite big and can fit i think quite a few lenses. why not just use it? messenger bags are more convenient. if you get backpacks kinda mafan if you wanna just go for travelling. need to consider that if you wanna change lens and etc etc.

Can someone recommend me a DSLR backpack ? budget under RM350 , initially my choice is fastpack 200 .

My current gear
60D
sigma 17-50
Canon 580ex2
70-200 F4L

need something bigger bag , something like fastpack 200 will do , not too big , not too small.
*
have you tried slingshot 200aw? got mine for 170 2nd hand smile.gif. you can go to shops like IWay @ pavillion to check out the bags. i laike slingshot because its really convenient to access my camera, and it can attach your 60d + 70-200 attached i believe. your gear confirm can fit all smile.gif. only think i don't like about my slingshot is that it doesn't look that nice and its bulky abit (backpacks are always bulky blink.gif )

slingshot 200aw is sling type , I dislike sling type because the burden hold on one shoulder , which will make my shoulder pain after long hours of carry...
*
To be honest (not trying to press you to buy the slingshot, just my opinion), I've carried the slingshot with 60d with grip and tamron17-50 attached, nissin di622 and samyang 8mm with gorilla pod for almost 12 hours, of course got rest and makan, when I reach home I barely felt any pain, compared to using my shoulder bag and the same gear, after 2 hours also pain edi

i get it on lelong for 210.
u can get it for around 140+- if u buy in singapore. doh.gif

it is big enough for a dslr +1 extra lens + flash light
n u still have space for water bottle, phone, mp3...
the inner bag is detachable  so u can use it as a normal sling bag when u don't want to bring camera.

i'm using this one tongue.gif
http://cdn-static.lowyat.net/uploads/attac...-1314160500.jpg

i like the large one a lot, it can fit an iPad inside no problem, but depends on the case, if the iPad case very thick, maybe this is not the bag for you coz it'll push out the bag making it hard to close and making it look like its bulging. can fit a 60D with 17-50 attached, samyang 8mm fisheye + nissin di622 flash, my OEM joby gorillapod, wallet, phone, ipod, extra battery and cards.

Dei dei dei.
Water-resistant and water-proof are 2 separate things lah. This is basic Engrand wert.
Water-resistant just means withholds a certain limit of water. Water-proof means dunk-it-in-like-its-Oreos. Huhuhu~
Anyhoo. Yer typical Lowepro and ThinkTanks are triples Bs - big, (predictably) black and bulky. If you're up for that nerdy cameraman look, then by all means go for em! They are good bags anyway
What Ari offers is style + utility. So whaddya want? Heh.

Added on October 31, 2011, 3:31 pmAgain, Incase Ari Marcopoulos comes witthha raincover. So technically it's rainproof - assuming that you won't decide to stand in the rain for an hour straight just to prove me wrong. Haha

Yupperdoodle! Light rain, no problemo. Heavy rain, use raincover. *winks*

Can it fit a 70-200? Kinda interested in it, gonna take a look at it after my spm and probably getting that or the billingham Hadley pro. Any shops I'm kl selling it? Other than YL. Wanna take a closer look at it first, seeing as I'm gonna spend so much on a bag lol

Okay scratch that. Seeing the reviews on it is making my mouth water haha. The bag is huge!

Added on October 27, 2011, 9:50 pmWhen I bought this bag, the main reason wasn't the aesthetic. Just that there is no sling-type (body hugging type, not school bag type) camera bag. My main concern was, I move around when I shoot, and most of the time I never care for the conditions around me. I really hate most of the bags out there cause I probably need to worry about the bag all the time, rather than shooting.

If on budget why not the Incase Sling Pack? Bigger space than Ari, I probably take this if it was available earlier. But Ari is good bag, no regret what so ever. Much rugged than usual nylon bag.

Considering to sell your ari to get the incase sling? whistling.gif brows.gif

Any idea if there are any shops that actually have these in hand? I kinda wanna see it in person before buying it, mainly coz it's not a cheap bag lol. And I only can get it in December, I've got maybe 3-4 days to get this bag before my trip to Singapore after spm.

Wakakaka. That's cause, as I mentioned, it's not MEANT to be in "messenger mode". I stole a couple of photos from Chari & Co NYC. They are hardcore street bikers. Hmm, bear in mind the photos you are looking at here is with the bag empty inside.

did researches on those and I came out with some points that I dislike about them.
Lowepro Pro Messenger, not out yet. but that`s one neat bag!!!
I decided to wait for this and use the current bag.

-Ari Marc,
I turns out to be liking the messenger type bag
Ari looks ugly in messenger mode

-LP Stealth reporter, typical design.
not that I hate it. sorry
- Crumpler,
always out of stock. I hate it.
My friend already got it, so looking for alternatives.

-Manfrotto Unica,
it`s so huge! even the unica 5 is still huge. and the compartment divider is so, limited should I say.
they only give 2 deviders, yet it has it own place to stick it to, so you cant really pack things as you want to.
found 1 more bag.
it`s nice

This doesn't look that bad but I don't really like it due to it looking like s typical messenger bag haha. How much is it?
