Watched it yesterday. Nice music, nice tone to it. Some needed violence (very minor- beheading goblins). That epic dwarf song is still automatically repeating in my head till now.
I didn't once feel the long runtime. I wished it was longer, tbh.
Last but not least, Gandalf is casting more spells that he did in LOTR. And the same plot hole as many claimed..

For non readers, it's normal to have this thought. I'm not a reader myself but I did myself some researches.
