Recently i saw some article said it graphic card can update bios.I believe it can tune the graphic card's clock share and memory timing by updating own modded bios.Any sifu know how to do this?Beside that got any benefitt after updating newer version of bios?

hmm nah dude.. safe..
just that prior to flashing u need to make sure 3 things

ure artifact free
checksum is correct
ure timings correct.. checksum again

and ultimately.. do it when u have a ups and pray TNB doesnt suddenly off ure electricty or some construction nearby fiddling the power cables.
when ure flashing..

if corrupted.. can be repaired by booting a second card..
but if ure epprom corrupted then bye bye card for nvidia.

but totally i recommend it..
u get better clocks.. and more control.

example of mine.. EN8800gts 512mb Mod to EN8800gts 512 TOP ..

Hmm can i know how we can flash the graphic card in more convinient ways?A programmed in window/bootable floppy? And where can we find the modified / official new bios? And does the bios will enhance our performance alot ? Like how we always tweak the MOBO bios? Thank you to all !!

use nibitor for bios edit...
then download nvflash
get a floppy disk preferably .. external etc

copy nvflash and ure bios rom and ure original also into that floppy disk

on a:\
type nvflash -6 (your rom name).rom

if ure using another vendor use -5 -6

if theres a epprom i dont suggest u to take it out or erase it unless u know what ure doing.

If you using ATI card, you got to use ATI Bios Edit 0.96Beta from ComputerBase.de

After editing BIOs file, you can use WinFlash 2.0.0.2 to flash your VGA card in windows. Make sure you close all application before running it.

If you are not using ATI card, forget what I say. haha.

I've done several BIOS mod on my old 7600GT. Flash it about a dozen of time in a week, I want to get the speed right, balancing shader/ROP speed with geometric speeds, but at the end of the day, performance difference is marginal

Editing memory timing is even more complicated, unless you know what you're doing. Not all module can run at certain timings, and with several module brand, things going to go complicated. Judging by my experience, memory overclocking/timing/voltage changes is the easy way to kill a graphics card

Remember anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Prepare a spare PCI card if anything goes wrong. You don't need a floppy, bootable thumbdrive will do nicely, and its faster too

Do lots of research, and really KNOW what you doing before even thinking of flashing. Sometimes its better to just leave it as it is, if it ain't broke don't fix it

Palit does makes different revision of cards, so be careful. TechPowerUp VGA BIOS collection. The Sonic have different PCB and faster memory module compared to normal cards I guess, but check it. If its the same then you lucky

What card did you use currently?
