i heard because of perth's DLS ended a week earlier than other states, somehow some flight (qantas i think) got their timing screwed n couldnt get clearance to land at duno which airport..

winter in perth isnt really "nice" tho.. well that's for me..... its so wet that u dont feel like going out or walk out.. usually it rains for like 5 days in a week.... its not really that cold in winter, temp ranges from maybe 10C-20C during the day, and it can go down to as low as about 3C, usually after midnight till about 6am in the morning.. thats the extreme..

if u want some detailed info on perth's temperature, u may want to refer here.... it shows the average temperatures for the past few years..

on the trains in perth, if u do not tag ur smartrider, then i think the fine is $50 bucks.. $50 aso quite alot le.. :s ..

yeah ive done it before.. its so easy.. ridiculously easy id say.... in CIC/Curtin, working hard is not the answer.. but working smart is..

i got charged $1.05 from zone 1 to zone 2 in perth.. i thought that was expensive.. 6.60 is like nearly 1 kebab roll in uni.. LOL..

indo mie goreng is nice.. im gonna stock that up for winter i guess.. one of the cheapest food i can find... 40cents per packet only.. syok! but sure to get jelak of it if eat everday..

see this is the problem with most msian students.. they want ppl to help, rather than them helping themselves.. and no, i will not.. its so straight forward.. to be honest, most of the students that always rely on people for help will not go far.. im not being an ******* or something, that is reality but people wont accept the fact that it is.. and im sick of that..

not really.. as long as u can speak in simple english, and as long as people can understand u then u're fine.. some ppl tend and WANT TO speak like a pro (with some super power ascent/slang) when they actually cant, and that makes things worse.. also makes my hair stand most of the time....

like what ckwei said, there r lots of places where u can undergo some english course for some period of time (3 months, 6 months, etc), different place may differ.. another way of learning to speak english fluently is to go get a part time job.. u'll start off with talking to the staffs, and after a while when u build up ur confidence, u'll start talking to the customers like they're ur fren.. thts wat im doing also.. i dun have super good english, maybe somewhere around the average side only..

most of the time, and depending on the unit you're taking, most lecturers usually use simple english on lecture slides and assessments.. but sometimes they may also play with the english to screw students up.. so beware, u'll be more on the beneficial side if ur english standard is above average..

IMO, if u know super bombastic english words doesnt mean ur good english is super good.. put the bombastic stuff away, learn the simple stuff first, then u'll be sailing smoothly all the way, hopefully.. i dun believe in bombastic words.. i seldom use those kinda stuff in my assignments.. i use them only when i need to, but abit only.. most of the time non, sometimes 3-4 words in a whole report, but never have big big words everywhere.. it also depends on wat i have to do..

i got in uni using y 1119, and other ausmat results.. hehehe... so i escaped IELTS ..

yeah i think have to take ielts again if im applying for PR .. anyways im gonna apply for PR quite soon..

taking IELTS or not wont bother me much also.. if have to take, then take lor.. cant complain much if the gov requires us to take.. not that its gonna kill me or something..
