from kl to perth theres mas..SIA n QANTAS u have to flly to singapore first.. and for those from johor or the southern region in peninsular who really wants cheap flights, tigerairways is always there..

i paid sgd200+ for my flight to perth back in march, and i just booked another flight back to perth, sgd200+ also, in july.. biggrin.gif

coming back with tiger isnt really cheap tho, about aud350 from perth to sg..

inflight food and drinks, not free - have to pay when u want.. so for those who still wants to save additional money, buy ur drinks at the airport, once you've gone thru customs/security..

Thanks for your info.  I really wish to fly away .... and hope it is the right decision for me using around 5-yr times (2 years for studying and 3 years for working) to gain a better future.  Thanks.  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

u wont regret if u use your next 5 years properly in australia.. if u scerw things up, then u might regret a little bit.... working in australia, comparing to msia is way way way better.. less stress, higher income, and employers appreciate their staffs.. well, most of them.. haha.. bad luck if ur employer is a shitty one..

should be ard 4k return; depends when do you book it.You can get SIA from singapore also anyway.
Brunei Air fly to Perth cheaper too if you dont mind transit in the borneo island.

CNY next yr is 26 Jan ..google lar plsss. wink.gif
*
huh.. not rm4k le... business class is about RM5k return i think..

for MAS its about RM2.7k return..
QANTAS is about RM2k-rm2.4k, not really sure.. have to fly from KLIA - SG.. SG - PER
SIA, not sure.. probably about RM2k-rm2.3k after conversion.. have to go to SG urself, or fly to SG from KLIA,
TigerAirways, rates changes frequently, i paid SGD270 one way, SG-PER.. PER-SG i paid AUD350-AUD380, forgot......

erm, for seniors who're in curtin uni, is it advisable to use microsoft office 07 or 03? does it matter?
*
theres a unit in curtin called Business Technology Skills 200, and guess wat, they teach access 07, and excel 07.. im doing that.. very easy unit..

but, anyhow, its good to use the 2007 version.. much much better than the 03 version

my friend has minor operation at royal adelaide hospital..
and she paid with her own money and will be refund back once the hospital send the operation cost detail to OSHC..and u know it take how long..?
a year!!!
*
not really.. i went to the GP and did a claim on the medical bills.. i got it within 2 weeks after i sent the bill to OSHC.. another one when i was admited to the perth hospital to monitor my heart.. they used all those high tech stuff, and im sure if i didnt have the OSHC i could have had paid up till about aud500 for the checkup..

tot was heart attack, so went to the hospital n they hook me up wif the instruments all those, took xray ne verything.. but actually its heartburn.. HAHA! n i didnt have to pay anything coz of OSHC.. free.. so i juz walk out of hospital a few hrs later..

erm private doctors yea but i cant remember the percentage.

i tore my tendon during a game of basketball last year, my GP bills (went to uni health services) and surprise surprise, x ray bill, were fully covered by OSHC. only thing not covered is the medication, which is to be expected
*
not really.. i was told that if the medication is prescribed by the GP, and if its above $30 or something, not sure how much, OSHC will cover some percentage of that.. additional infos can be found on OSHC's website..

and OSHC do not cover dental fees.. so for those who are suffering from toothaches, beware! i paid $130 just for scalling.. $40 for consultation, the rest for scalling... vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

Ah, damn it. That shopkeeper tried to convince me to spend hundreds ringgits to purchase a license for Office 2007, telling me the airport checking stuff. Luckily i was not convinced.

To be safe, i will make sure my laptop is not containing any pirated software before entering the airplane.

What are the solutions for you guys? Using the licensed Office 2007/2003 to do your assignments?
*
me 2.. sometimes i worry for my windows.. anywy there's a promotion for office 2007 ultimate, for aud75.. damn cheap.. www.itsnotcheating.com.au
