Hi all,

I've few questions regarding student visa's , hope that all the senior can advice me on this

Recently I went to IDP Penang and applied for a course start on February next year, and they told me I've to wait for another 3-4 weeks ( or maybe less ) to receive a offer letter by the college, I wonder this is a normal process by the college or IDP Malaysia ( Penang ) ?

and also my girl friend who are Australian Citizen and she would like to sponsor me a visa's which allow me to live in Australia in the future,  she suggested wait till I enroll my course next year and we will apply for interdependency visa, but the conditions of interdependency visa is whoever " holding a visa with a No Further Stay condition (conditions 8503, 8534 or 8535) " cannot apply for interdependent visa, I doubt that all the Australian student visa's especially Malaysian are issuing under No Further Stay with the conditions of 8503, 8534 or 8535 or different conditions ?

I would really appreciate if anyone can help me or advice me accordingly. Thanks

nono i disagree.....yesterday just hav shooting in chapel street.....ppl juz pull out a gun...and thers alot of italian mafia here.....plus greek gansters....chinatown thugs....pacific islander bullies.....indigenous-i-can-do-whatever-fcuk-i-wan is quite dangerous oso....

and last year 2 ppl get shot in melb.....near a busy train station....1 is a tourist....1 is a local....and the local died i think.....

eh holmesglen is the one in outer melbourne rite??? not some brizzy / sydney/ perth /adelaide / hobart suburb rite??? yea im in monash clayton.....i knew a few dudes from holmeglen....2 indian dudes......i think they study sth like public health or community healthcare.....sth like that....

those guys quite crazy leh....study during the day...drive taxi at night...and the only thing that can keep them awake during the day is cricket talk...

I would be very cautious before buying into a claim like that.  Even if it were true, I'd say international students would find it much harder to find a job due to:-

1) Residency requirements;
2) Lack of Australian work experience;
3) Lack of English proficiency and lack of finesse in performing in interviews.

Ermm... 4 Season... actually they have it, but for me, i feel like only winter and summer.

ya.. i know a few ppl who are older than me, 1-2yrs +, working at asian restaurants.. getting paid at $9 only.. lol.. o well, its in their blood.. thts y i never even bother to look for jobs at asian restaurants, or work for asian people.. work for aussies the best, no need to work so hard also.. heheh..

I don't look down on them. I respect their hardwork actually. In fact, I have to learn from them. Haha
I'm not even sure if I can manage to work part time to cover my expenses there(Except for tuition fees).
