im using a well.. student violin. im not sure is it a defect (well dun really expect much from MIC stuff) but it seems tat the action of my violin is too low. the E string, is basically almost stick to the finger board. and thus, im having problem playing the A and D string. i always hit the other string. im wondering is it bcoz of my posture or bcoz of the low action so its harder to bow. well... after spending a month with it, atleast the chance of hitting other string have go down significantly

im thinking of put some mark at my violin birdge. should i do that? the wiki say that is normal for beginner to mark the bridge mith something so they can remember the position easier. i dunno what is my problem, but i always end up going to the second position for my middle and ring finger. only my index finger can grab the position. perhaps is bcoz im used to the fret at my guitar?
