I'm a violinist.. I'm also selling violins!.. haha..,Anyway, I'm searching for Violin pickups..
I've often tried several electric violins, but i can't achieve the acoustic sound.. So if anybody knows where to buy VIOLIN PIEZO Pickups, do PM me!!!

Thanks!

Well, I normally use Electric Violin only for gigs and performances with my students.
You can check out some pictures here @ www.kiddyspot.com/thecat

Other than that, use an acoustic violin. It definitely sound more romantic too!

Hi guys, I've been following this forum for a long time, just never posted anything here before. Haha.

Learnt the Violin for about year beforewhen i was much younger, but stopped cuz can't handle learning 2 instruments at the same time. I play the Erhu as well.

Then, continued practicing my violin by myself without a teacher. Completed book 2 and halfway thorugh book 3 of the Strictly Strings series.

But now looking for a teacher cuz can't continue learning by myself. Always afraid of cultivating bad and wrong playing habits.

Anyone knows of any teacher around Batang Berjuntai?

It's great learning Erhu.. I really like sound of that instrument. 2 string instruments? That should be manageable. Master them both! Imagine, playing the violin in a concert, then suddenly switching to and erhu in the midst of the song. The audience will wow you for that! biggrin.gif:D

If you're done through book 3, you're already about grade 3! Why don't you join and orchestra or a string ensemble in your area?
Then you'll be able to learn with your peers.
