hey, i'm trying to help my friend get a violin. she's a beginner. any recommendations on which brand to look for ? is there any music shop that you would recommend ? am thinking of going to guitar store cheras.

how much should i be expecting to pay for a decent beginners guitar ? 500-800 can get any from amadeus ?

finally bought a violin from amadeus. brand's scott cao. am really happy with it

the sound's good. better than some of the more expensive violins that i tried at guitar store and all. think its real value for money as the workmanship is pretty good. and yes it's handmade.

got it for 900...apparently they changed the strings to something tat's about 140 and also gave a rm19 rosin
