Ya when I asked her if she is doing theory with me, she said no need for theory, but if I wanted then I can buy my own book and do it, and ask her questions if I don't understand...
I can understand her also..Since I only have limited time with her per lessons.
Haha.. Oh yeah I can ask paramore to teach me. ^^ But I need to clarify with my teacher which board I'm doing?

I never even see real violin in front of my eyes before. Kesian  sad.gif
Icic, so it should be no problem with me then  smile.gif

I'm interested in learning violin coz I loooooovveeeee the sound it could make. Been wanting to learn since school, but my parents were really against music classes, I have to wait until I start working and have my own money, so they can't object too much I guess coz I won't be spending their money  tongue.gif
*
Coincidence??? shocking.gif

Haha except for the age part..
I told my mum that I wanted to use my salary to pay off the fees but now she insisted she doesn't mind paying for me.

hmm.gif But if you practice long enough, right or left handed, shouldn't be a problem, should it??
If you change the placement of the chin rest, won't it become a lefty's violin?

gu zheng,i put it in the cool category, its has a kinda erudite & ocean type of sound...can be angry and mild, kinda like gandalf frm LOTR laugh.gif
but pipa... wub.gif its romantic,sorrowful,petite...more of a woman taste in it nod.gif

try positioning your wrist not hand... hmm.gif

Gandalf? I thought he was a nice old man? Can't remember him being angry.... hmm.gif

Ah.. But does it really matter if you bow dead parallel or not?

LOL I don't read the books. I only watched the movies.

What I meant was keeping the position of the bow parallel to the bridge all the time = dead parallel.

I like practicing. Its just that its hard to see and correct your bowing technique. The moment I start playing, I'm only concentrating on my left arm and make it a point to move my right arm by memory. So.. I cant tell if I'm bowing with the correct technique?

Blek. I don't know what I'm saying. doh.gif

Not as terrible as before.. But still need to practice more on synchronizing my left fingers and right arm when changing notes.. And also avoid touching other strings when bowing. happy.gif

Btw will your fingers (left) touch other strings when you press for a note? For example when pressing G on D string, do your fingers touch the A string? unsure.gif

Haha how's work today btw?

I practice only 30 minutes the most per day. =P Does that count?

Urgh have to get a part time job to pay for the fees then.. Not planning to rely on my parents happy.gif

Economy almost down the drain or not, it doesn't really affect their education line right? unsure.gif

Sure. PM me your email add.

rclxub.gif Don't know nuts about currency.. XD

Sometimes if I practice too long.. I'll get tired and sleepy..
And I don't like playing if I'm in a bad mood.. So once awhile will skip a day of practicing.. XD I find it hard to concentrate when I'm stressed... when musics are suppose to help you destress? unsure.gif
