I also just bought a used set few weeks ago, been craving for long lol. Mine running latest Aust. firmware because I bought it there and cheap!

Mine running on Nik's Black Diamond Superb firmware and soon to be running on Nik's Stallion Pro

Rockbox playing FLAC files, MPlayer playing AVI files, this phone definitely ROKS!

oh and btw, the default media player's audio quality *gasps* SUCKS BIG TIME!

I'm using my own earphones and damn does the default player sucks in terms of audio quality!

thank god theres Rockbox for it, else i'd consider selling it off

SQ sucks a lot? Are you sure? Most people said E8 has one of the finest SQ around! And EM30 too because they use the same hardware.

Haven't mod my phone yet. I've read the tutorials but they are too complicated. The last time I modded my phone was the E398 and things have changed drastically now. Didn't have the time though. I just want it to run faster because it is going to be my main phone.

SQ wise, it really does sucks lol. Using the Soundmagic PL50, it really reveals everything....

Stock SQ is great..just flashed with Rockbox and i must say..sound quality improved a hell lot from the stock.

still have that awful hiss at low volumes though

hissing with headphones or speaker? could it be ur sound setting?

hmm...i've been having a problem. most of the time when i receive an sms, it sends me bout 4 of the same messages and i don't think it's the senders fault cause i get multiple messages from everyone
