does this phone can do photo zooming while in viewing mode?
for example, sony ericsson's phones can zoom up to 32X.

yup.while viewing the pics not while capturing a pic.
but se phones can zoom until 32X in their image viewer.

isn't there a firmware upgrade to overcome that issue right?

I also just bought a used set few weeks ago, been craving for long lol. Mine running latest Aust. firmware because I bought it there and cheap!

SQ sucks a lot? Are you sure? Most people said E8 has one of the finest SQ around! And EM30 too because they use the same hardware.

Haven't mod my phone yet. I've read the tutorials but they are too complicated. The last time I modded my phone was the E398 and things have changed drastically now. Didn't have the time though. I just want it to run faster because it is going to be my main phone.
