Notice on Removal of Warranty Sticker on Northbridge of DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2RS:
If the sticker is removed, warranty is not totally void. Users may install aftermarket products to cool the northbridge. When send in the board in for RMA, as long as the damage is not related to the northbridge, RMA will be accepted. If damage is related to the northbridge, then user will bear the risks. However, as usual, any burnt marks are considered as voiding the warranty too. Normal warranty T & C applies. Also, here's how the warranty claims will be: 1. Don't have enuf stocks for 1 week 1 to 1 exchange. 2. Board will be send back to RMA, normally takes 2 weeks, if northbridge warranty sticker is still intact. 3. RMA will take 2 months if northbridge sticker is removed as the distri will not perform any initial tests on their own, but send the mobo directly to DFI to test. This is confirmed update for buyers of my batch of P35 DK, for duo8668's buyers', kindly hold on for a little longer, getting confirmation soon. |

The mobo still can use with ur rams, but ur rams won't b running at 1066MHz at default, just to the max of 800MHz. But this mobo is for OC, so, ur rams got potential to hit 1200GHz if u can put up higher voltages.I read from the first post, it only support 667Mhz and 800Mhz... So need ur enlightenment. core speed from 2.4Ghz to 3.6Ghz. now try to fine tune the ram timing. now still at stock 5-5-5-18 with 2V but load temp under 4cores really power! hit 67C easily. lucky i have delta to cooled the beast. might try new E8 C2D soon. heard very good on OC. rgds, albert |
