Intel C2D E6550 ( Conroe G0 ) : 3306MHz @ 1.38vcore : DFI LP DK P35-T2RS : 2x1gb Crucial 10th Anni ddr2 667 : 472 @ 4-4-4-12, 2.2vdimm : Xigmatek S1283

additional info:
this E6550 is based L726B batch, retail unit. and the ram is based D9GMH chipset. NB changed to NC-U6 and the S1283 installed at vertical position, original fan come with S1283 running at full speed, ~2100rpm

vcore reading:
bios set | bios reading | cpu-z reading (idle/load) | SG reading (idle/load)
1.38v | 1.38v | 1.376v/1.376v | 1.37v/1.37v flex.gif

vdimm reading:

this mobo definitely better than my previous P35-DS3 or my friend P35-DS3P which has serious vdroop (both vcore & vdimm) problem.

I got a question regarding the dram ch1 & ch2

user posted image

As you can seen from the picture above, the Ch1 consist of DIMM1 & 2 whereas Ch2 consist of DIMM3 & 4.

For the DK P35, the first orange slot is DIMM 1 and next to it which is the first yellow slot is DIMM 2... whereas the second orange slot is DIMM 3 and last is DIMM 4.

so my question is, since my ram is installed on DIMM1 & 3, do I need to adjust both the channel setting? since I read somewhere it said that orange slot is Ch1 and the yellow slot is Ch2 rclxub.gif

3.3GHz too but ram only 5-4-4-8 @ 2.2v, guess that hit the fsb wall, with this DK, I can get better ram timing at the same vdimm

Yea, and this board can overclock much better than current x38 board.

x48 maybe on par or better than p35.

Does this temperature consider hot for me that running Q6600 @ 2.4GHz stock with Xigmatek HDT-S1283 & Tuniq-TX2 with closed Thermaltake Tsunami Dream casing in a place without air-con and just under a ceiling fan? This temperature was taken when I'm doing normal work like surfing, downloading, messengering and DOTA-ing (DOTA doesn't take very high load I suppose unsure.gif).
