QUOTE(hwa107 @ Feb 4 2008, 10:22 PM) regarding the wood chip, today i found 2 small pieces of wood chip in my 3 inches star poo, i think he might be accidentally eat the wood chip... You are using XL size or what ? For now the safest i think so far is the recyled paper pellets. Forest bark also have some slight percentage to be swallowed by the st. i think we might have to reconsider which substrate is good for our tortoise, another thing about the wood chip is that they seem to keep moisture and kinda hard for them to dry. to me the best would be the turned upside down tile. btw the wood chip im using is as the image below, the star in the picture is around 2 inches big. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Added on February 4, 2008, 10:34 pm QUOTE(dzi921 @ Feb 4 2008, 10:31 PM) Is it this brand? Agree with sam and camillenoir, some people think they should be left alone in the wild but its totally wrong. In fact in the wild their numbers are declining fast because of deforestation etc etc.
