'Manual' ancient ABS system.

my vacuum gauge can set warning. if less than 5hg it will beep. of coz can turn of the sound but mostly use in da morning so cant see the warning light

it's so sensitive now that i have difficulty locking my steering with the Stoplock

My front bumper lower part scratch badly.. =( Scratch when go tru hump.. After CNY, want put St lips already.. Want to cover the scratch part...

Just now saw Honda EG3 pek corner around 90km/h speed.. can see the car still in nicely control and no body roll.. Doing 90 degree corner with high speed also no body roll.. Damn 9.. While I doing the same corner at 80km/h, the car like wanna terbalik..

just changed my window switches (both) for the 3rd time!
walk in, tell them window switch spoilt
they dont even ask me any questions
dont even go and check 1st
straight ask me for my warranty book and went in and take replacement parts

also aircon stopped working this morning
took my car to denso service agent recomended by proton
he checked
then c c its my wire connection that came lose
the one near the firewall going down to the compressor
plug back then ok d


nex thing is probably the compressor will fall off and drag on the road hahaha

so weird... my 1st gear absolutely no power... only 3rd gear got power to go uphill, 2nd gear no pickup when go uphill, and 4th gear on straight road... 5th gear totally no power

1st n 2nd gear u have to press hard
about 3-5Hg vacuum
and revs should hit about 3.5k when going up hill
then 1.3 engine sux when it comes to power
they should have put in a 1.5
far better power and fuel efficiency

from your description, im guessing ur driving style is going to be causing v high fc
i say this coz you press very little on 1st n 2nd (you are saying theres no power, so im guessing that you'll be shifting up v fast)
u will be pressing more on 3rd when you feel the bite (thanks solely to the gear ratio)
when you press at this stage, you will be dumping alot of unburnt hydrocarbons out ur exhaust

so,... when you are going up hill, whats your rpm on 3rd when you 'feel the power'?

Same lor... I changed around 4th time liao.. But I need bring service booklet and photostat car registration card...

Memang jealous lor.. Got money also buy EG3 and play... Hehe..

Then terbalik liao.. In my car first gear,2nd gear and third gear got more pick up... While 5th gear usually above 120km/h i only shift...

is it because 4-2-1 qnd 4-1 diffrent???

I dunno oh.. Maybe my torque higher?
Usually my gear is like this

1st gear = 40km/h @4500rpm
2nd gear = 65km/h @4000rpm
3rd gear = 100km/h @4000rpm
4th gear = 120km/h@ 4000rpm
5th gear = 140km/h @ 4000rpm.

Lebih kurang on RPM.. My friend lmst higher.. 2nd gear can go 90km/h (his setup 4-2-1, 1.7 piping and open pod)

I dunno woe..

my definition of no power means... when i rev it goes very fast to 5rpm or 6rpm but u cant feel the pickup... like loud engine roar and needle spinning but the car is crawling

walau. at 3500rpm i oledi change gear liao. pressure around 5hg. y ur fc better than me
if put open pod nid heat shield or not?

1st gear is not meant to go fast
once you reach a certain rpm, u have to change d
if u rev to 5 or 6k then sure lar no more pull
you go read about petrol engine power curves
they are bell shaped (more or less)
once you pass your peak power, the power drops of VERY FAST
so check ur manual
where is the peak power for our engine?
once you pass that point, your power will fall like a rock hurled towards the ground with a rocket engine strapped onto its back hahaha

to get good pickup this is what i do...

press until manifold pressure is 3Hg (and keep it there), shift in this order:
1st gear to 4250 -> 2nd gear to 4000 -> 3rd gear to 4000 -> 4th gear to 4000 -> 5th gear to speed u want or engine blow

remember to maintain ur 3Hg manifold pressure at all times
as the rpm goes up, you have to progressively press more to compensate

today test drive the new saga... auto tranny... throttle response damn slow sial... came out from junction also heart attack....

he talking about pickup
so we talk about pickup lar
hahaha
if in city c lar
pandai pandai feel lor
sumtimes 2 or 2.5k oso change d
but if 6k all,...that 1 nowhere oso will drive liddat lor
unless 1 2 blow the engine after 6 months
...always 1 2 redline hahaha

wat is "3Hg" ? ... is it the rpm thing?




Btw, Want to "register" myself .. new saga booked... but need to wait long time for it .

3Hg is 3 merkuri atmosphere... common scale for pressure.... rpm is revolutions per minute...
