i wanna try to pump full tank petrol tmr but i havent try it yet... i mean i always pump only rm30 or rm 60... will the saga LMST have the stopper so it wont pump until it overflow?
*
it is on the pump 'gun' as you guys call it
there is no 'stopper'
the system prevents overflow by a pressure balance mechanism
it senses back pressure
once the pressure at the exit of the nozzle changes (increases),...the mechanism trips the trigger and the petrol stops flowing
sometimes the trigger jams
and this is when we get overflowing
i've faced that problem a few times
not pleasent,...or safe for that matter blink.gif

i always pump full tank biggrin.gif rm8x-9x.
sometime i smell the fuel at the fuel cap is it the cap spoil?

Added on January 31, 2008, 9:19 pm
hmm.gif some1 wrote his 1 is melting. i dunno who wrote that
*
there is a pressure relief valve sumwer inside there
not exactly sure where it is
smelling abit of fumes after filling full tank is quite expected
nothing to worry about

previously when ya'll wanted to do the bitumen on the car doors, i told ya'll that the roofing compound will not be able to take the heat
but as usual, in the spirit of DIY, nobody listens to advise based on wisdom gained from the mistakes of others
well...i guess now you can tell others based on your own experience that it roofing compound just cant take the heat
it will melt and fall off

to do bitumen damping in the door cavity, the bitumen strips specifically made for auto doors and panels have to be used
these stick very well...and do not melt n fall off

i guess what im trying to say here is,....i told u so

i know its not in good form and such...but sometimes one gets frustrated that people just dont listen and you know that its not going to work, and you know that they are just going to be wasting their time n money,...but you just cant do anything about it unsure.gif

Added on January 31, 2008, 9:12 amKevin, after I do clay, can i use soft99 metaclean to clean my car paint? izit soft99 meta clean also consider as polish?
*
Ideally, you should clay -> meta clean -> wax.

This meta clean is a cleaner wax - use before waxing. Clay up to you lor, need to clay only if u feel the paint surface is rough. ur cloth/pad will turn black kau kau wan when u use meta clean. its normal, it removes all the crap bonded to the paint..after metaclean, when u wax the cloth should be pretty clean.

ever hear a toyoto pickup truck driving by on a tarred road?
or a military truck/lorry on the highway?
thats tyre noise a.k.a. road noise

it is caused by a combination on the compound hardness, the thread design and the wall flexibility
the overall cross section also plays a role in the acoustic properties of the tyre
some speeds will cause louder noise than others due to resonence,...faster doesnt always mean louder

then how u want me to explain?
in DB?

i think i post in terms of tire performance b4 there

if u wont mind the nosiy of the tire, go for goodyear F1
best grip in wet as well

Michelin P2 - expensive - girp sure lost to F1 but more quite & comfortable

Toyo - expensive also - grip is thumbup.gif but pricy - made from japan
else Ad07 also can heard noise is lesser compare to F1

all u need to try only u know
