i dun like too much of silver/chrome, cos its just coating on plastic that easily visible with scratch marks and will color fade in long run. also has to be careful with the chemicals like the ambi pur, glade, etc.

QUOTE(Travies @ Aug 23 2008, 02:46 PM) QUOTE(mikelee @ Aug 24 2008, 02:29 AM) I believe the chromium exhaust pipe can be seen to the pic right? The 16" alloy rim seems not really nice, wonder if Honda provide optional choice or not. QUOTE(Gravity @ Aug 24 2008, 04:00 AM) It's ok lah. Just like PC computer technology. There's no way you can keep follow the trance lar. And after all, before this new City out, you have already enjoyed months of driving on your new City prior to some of us who haven't really own a City yet. Agreed? When Honda Thailand launch this next month, we will get rough idea on what Honda Malaysia offering will be as normally our specs are similar to what the Thai will get..

hmm theres a saying in chinese "suffer the bitterness first, then only to enjoy the sweetness later". so im quite happy after these years of waiting. now only wait to see the actual car, hopefully the quality wont be tat bad.
ya the rim is not really that desirable, maybe honda will provide mugen racing rim? |

Besides styling (which is great by the way), how much better is the new City to the Vios?
Remember that the Toyota Vios (Belta) was launched in Japan in 2006 (design is already 2 years old). So again, I won't expect anything less from Honda if they intend to compete. Judging from the pictures: - It has better integrated audio - 5 speed AT - Paddle shifters But nothing else significantly better than the Vios. If Honda Thailand has moved the launch to September, we could see the new City here as early as Nov. or January next year to try to hit the CNY crowd. Otherwise, the launch will happen in March of next year as originally intended. Let's see how they price the new City. This post has been edited by zweimmk: Aug 24 2008, 11:28 AM |

Haha..QUOTE(zweimmk @ Aug 24 2008, 10:37 AM) Besides styling (which is great by the way), how much better is the new City to the Vios? Well, from previous version. City's FC has always been better than Vios. Accelerate wise I'm not sure. Remember that the Toyota Vios (Belta) was launched in Japan in 2006 (design is already 2 years old). Camry is cool but not Yaris. Sigh. And i still prefer the meter gauge on top of steering instead of at the center. |
