food, phone bill, entertainment.

Petrol a month at least rm400 to 500

Honda city maintenance at least rm1000.00 you should bring in. Minimum rm500.

how frequent you use your car?
for sales?
you die standing.

i think diffrent people will have diffrent view and plan for their financial.

i have my proton wira b4 when my salary is just rm 1.5k only. Did u know proton wira maintenance is much high then honda city?

so i think with salary rm2k to having honda city is not big deal.. just how u plan well on your monthly expenses. Earning big income not mean he can afford to buy big car... it is depend on how his spend.

guys, i think he meant the installment for city around rm500 to rm1000 per month.

Guess the S spec will cost about RM86,000 OTR. S spec is good enough for me.
New City beats the Vios inside out and upside down. Vios cannot beat new City at all, except maybe the price. New City is longer, higher, wider and more spacious than Vios, not to mention sleeker, sportier and more stylish. Honda The Power Of Dreams  nod.gif
ya, its actually ahead in almost everything especially in technology. thus, the price is okok lo for 86k and 92k. but ya, u got that rite, it beats vios inside outside upside down haha nod.gif

QUOTE(vexus @ Dec 13 2008, 11:20 PM)
In s'pore city price is over vios in all range. So don't expect much for city Malaysia.
i dono what is kah motor's (singapore honda) strategy, but our city is locally assembled. so they cant sell it the way like in singapore.

Yeah i agree honda city mantainance is fairly cheap....even FC too

I agree, driving a Honda City is fairly cheap.

I drive a Honda City for the past 3 year and i can assure that the maintenance is less than RM180 for every 5000 KM service. With my Honda City, there was no problem to travel here and there, as i work as a pre-sales guy.

No regret buying the Honda until today, but the new Honda City i heard that it will a bit expensive!

rm180 for normal mineral oil rite, does it includes labor? ya its a good car, but i dont like the feather light steering wheel for the current city although its good for town driving.

Asia vtec preview did state that the new City's steering wheel is still light.

Anyway I am in the midst of creating a new thread for 2009 City, stay tuned. smile.gif

current city somehow gives the impression of gentle and being a family car that drives around town, that explains the light steering. but the new one portrait a little sportiness has a little bit more responsive and better handling too. autocar asean quoted it as its more 'crisp' to drive. anyway, waiting for the test drive to be available hehe.

haha sure, looking forward to it laugh.gif

Today only few days from 18th Dec, does it make any different?

Every few days will help for me. At least I can 'jump in' and tell my SA to swap my S-Spec to E-Spec
