the new city quite nice.. the front looking like new accord and the behind bumper like civic.... not bad
*
correction, not Accord but its the FCX Clarity...

This car is certainly the Dugong Vios killer. rclxm9.gif (sorry Vios owners)

after saw the clip of the new city in youtube, i noticed that the overall car looks similiar like gen2, that the rear is kinda big and short in side view. anyone with me? hav the feelin the car might hav a tall back.
*
It will have a tall back. Bear it mind it has 509 litres of boot volume without the rear seats folded down!

mm ya, amazingly the boot still can maintain the largest in this class. but from the side i see, it makes the tire looks timid inside lol. maybe change a wider tire will do the trick.
*
wider/bigger tyre = more $$
The City is Honda's entry level car, bear in mind. It is important to price it competitively. A slight variation will turn down thousands of buyers.

QUOTE(turbonetics86 @ Sep 17 2008, 12:32 AM)
i saw the video but the taillights not nice la ! but i do beleve taiwan and china and also thailand will come out with aftermarket taillights hehehe!
*
It's Honda. They will facelift it in another 2-3 years after the official launch. If people think its ugly, they will completely rework the rear, just like the 7th generation Accord.
Speaking of that, the Civic's facelift is coming soon. Emm... rclxms.gif

perhaps to avoid being sued lol. really pretty nice design. o i meant i might wan to go for wider after market rims cos honda will never give sumthing generous like that, after all the price is everything, especially here in malaysia.
*
NO. It means it's a rendering from someone that goes by the name jun23. In other words, photoshop 100%. lol

Expect at least 7.5% bump in price.

SV Spec might reach around RM 90k in order to make it essentially a booted version of the nice but expensive Jazz.

Only prediction though... Honda Malaysia might throw us a surprise. RM 60k for S version perhaps? tongue.gif

if RM60k for S version, the whole automobile market in Malaysia got deflation jor sweat.gif

i dun think there'll be 3ver for City in Malaysia. Maybe just a basic and top of the line. RM80k-90k.
*
Be hopeful la. If Rm60k then we can see more beautiful Citys running around the street instead of the dugong Vios. XD

The Vios has three versions and Honda will definitely offer three versions too in order to be competitive.

S is basically same with J (manual)
V is like E (auto)
SV is like G (auto)

Modulo + SV = S? tongue.gif

Not available in Thailand, but not necessarily it's not available in Malaysia when it's launched. The Jazz got "Taffeta White" as an option, the Stream got "Premium White Pearl" as an option. smile.gif

Be positive! smile.gif

But don't expect "Championship White" though... XD

i was wondering, once they launched the new model, do they still sell the old ones? what happens if consumers dont like the new one, is 2nd hand the only choice left? for me if its ridiculously overpriced, i'll keep my current car till rosak and the money i saved will be enough to buy me a family MPV in near future, better deal.
*
They need to retire off the current one in order for HM to have space to assemble the new ones.

Frankly speaking, I find out that people who goes "AIYA! New one came liao ah! I dun like la. I wan the old one la!" are dumb. The price of the car remains about the same from the time it was launched, facelifted and retired off and the banks always welcome you like those ah longs to take a loan from them. You like it, you grab it fast fast la. LOL

Why want to get the old model when the second hand value will depreciate like OMFGBBQ once the new one is launched.

Furthermore, dealers will start to sell the car to potential City customers a few months before the car's official launch.

what is Telescopic Steering?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steering_wheel

Better and probably safer, since the steering position best suits the driver (optimum driving position can be achieved easily) compared to conventional tilt steering system.
