QUOTE(RoxyGal @ Jan 24 2008, 05:51 PM) Shuttter speed 4 sec. to 1/1500 sec is this the correct spec for this new digicam? 1/1500 is slow and 4 sec. is not enuff should have 60 sec to 1/8000 sec and bulb mode. Or at least 1/4000 sec It's a point and shoot camera. Go for prosumer or DLSR if you want to take shots that require long/ultra-short exposure time.

but the pro slr, D3 is above rm10k bracket lol. correct me if im wrong, canon 5D also got >iso 10,000 and 20k+++ with boost?
F50fd got a Highly Recommended from dpreview, tht one even only 3x and not 28mm. the reviewer seem to like the FD2.0 what more the F100fd has FD3.0, new DRO feature (very good! ^^) and 5x. Additionally, the f50fd has iso (good upto 400) much better than other brand. just these features r fairly good, what more the even stronger F100fd.
If the price is marginal to the F50, it cud gain an easy HR rating. actually i do think specs alone, the cam is lovely.
if user want zoom (>10x), they wudnt hv consider tis in the first place but at least it has a wide angle and cater for consumers of its own class.
and btw, is 2/3 = 1/1.5, not 1/1.6? even 12mp/1.6, i doubt the super ccd will fare off worse than competitors. n btw, the f50 daytime iso100 is prettier than f3x/1x....its widely accepted but i forgot wher i read tis d

Does anyone know of firmware hack to enable my Canon 40D to shoot at ISO12800 like the Fuji? The official firmware are stuck at ISO3200 only. And that also have to be enabled using the custom function... Please show any URL or link to the related website for me... Thanks in advance.

If it's only 6mp, it would probably go till ISO 1600 with very good IQ.

QUOTE(JAYworm @ Jan 26 2008, 10:12 PM) roughly how much is it? if rm1299 should be good I doubt it will be that low, although it shud be reasonable price since the entry level dSLR is so cheap now. This post has been edited by mars2005: Jan 26 2008, 11:23 PM

As its come from Fuji, with super CCD, mechanical stabiliser and 5x optical zoom, well it cover most of what I need for a new dc.

DRO would be really nice to have, and useful in strong contrast. should be the first compact to have it, and of course FD v3.0 QUOTE(sranua @ Jan 29 2008, 09:59 AM) As its come from Fuji, with super CCD, mechanical stabiliser and 5x optical zoom, well it cover most of what I need for a new dc.
