Hmm, friends over here in my school. Would vote for 40D though...now i have to think real wisely.
*
remember lens more important than body smile.gif, 350D already a good cam, must see if there's really a need to go to 40D or not. for me I won't be upgrading my cam unless I want to go FF or the new few generation of xxxD cam really more advance biggrin.gif

cant, the school claims it is their copyright. As it is their event... mad.gif
*
that's wrong man, even if it's their event they also cannot claim rights to the photo, rights still belong to the photographer. Unless you sign some sort of agreement saying that whatever you shoot there, the photos belong to them lah, otherwise it's still yours. Sheesh how can the school simply claim like that, taking advantage of ppl lah

don't use save for web, go to File > Save as, then select jpeg, then you'll get a "Jpeg option" dialog box, quality choose high or maximum

haha i know what's wrong, you using tiff right, you tiff file must have been 16bits, first you need to convert it to 8bits, go to Image > Mode > , you'll see 16Bits/Channel tick, select 8Bits/Channel then save as again

alright! thanks valho! btw, this is complicated...

oh and what is the diff between 8 and 16 bits?
*
no problem, it'll be easy once you get used to it

uh simplest explanation is 16 bits can contains more colors than 8 bits

is there 70mm IS lens? i got quoted price so expensive. 400D+70mm IS lens(i think didnt rememeber much tongue.gif)+2gb+tripod+bag+hoya UV filter+international warranty=4k. expensive eh? xD
*
there's no 70mm IS lens, unless it's a 70-200, 70-300 but both IS lens is expensive, impossible to get together with 400D for just RM4k. From the price I think it should be the 17-85 IS lens instead

UTAR Kampar/PJ. Depends if I want to change my major.

Any of you here wear glasses? Do you take off your glasses when you take pictures?
*
I still wear them, otherwise cannot see properly biggrin.gif

QUOTE(CutieLynette @ Jan 23 2008, 11:57 PM)
I think the external would be useful if I want to shoot indoors. I've been having a lot of blurred pictures using the kit lens for indoor shots and I don like the build-in flash. Maybe for a cheaper alternative I could get a pop-up flash diffuser. Money's always the problem. HMPH.  laugh.gif

Oh, a viewfinder extender? Cool! But is this the one that comes with the camera already? Is that an extender?
*
what you are looking for is this here, it extend the eyepiece by 15mm but it also reduces viewfinder magnification by 30%, not sure how this will affect when u try to focus using viewfinder though.

Haven't actually find the need to wipe my glasses when snapping, maybe coz the viewfinder is slightly touching my glasses instead of pressing on it. I wipe the LCD more coz of my oily nose biggrin.gif
