Usually I'll use f8-f11 depending on how many rows of them.

anyway my post wasn't about depth of field, it's about sharpness.

sure it can go f1.8 but for lenses, they're not at their sharpest when at their widest aperture. which is why snapping at f1.8 on the 50mm would mean that you not only have lesser DOF but also less sharp pictures.

apparently the fella also hasn't figure out why there are buttons placed on it the grip that emulates the original buttons on the camera body.

clearly it's not about the size of the lens.

more like below the highest value. remember, higher (wider) the aperture means lower number.

Usually I'll snap 3 steps above the highest aperture. Sometimes I do shoot @ f2 using my 50mm f1.8

Dude all. Is it my holding style or something but after a photo session, the arms very tired lah. (and in pain) due to holding the camera esp on the shoulders. Seems like I'm in tension during the photo session. Is this normal? Perhaps I'm not holding the camera properly?

I might do a bulk buy on 3rd lens hood, maybe you guys could start to list which lens hood you guys are looking for.
Btw I do have an extra Orignal Canon 70-200mm f4 L's lend hood and a Rubber retractable hood which fits lens which uses 67mm filter e.g. Tammy 17-50mm f2.8. In case anybody interested.
