Anyway, I'm tired of keeping the kittens in my room and behind closed doors cuz my room dah stink giler! Nak tido pun pening... So now, I just let my door room open and the kittens still in the cage in my room lar... Oren now knows whats behind the close door, but lucky he doesn't go in and pick a fight. Sometimes he'll just sit at the door entrance and look at the kittens... Can do that for half an hour... But when I take the kitten out and put near him, he'll start to growl... if it is already gemuk that way since kitten, i think lah, just let it be fat or chubby
why im not asking for fully diet? because the fat/chubby cat will turn weird and look uglish. hmm example like female cat look like after giving birth, you will see the flat stomach on the floor. that aint beautiful at all. so i guess in your case, you can go for chubby/fat cat, as long as you give good food and nutritions, frequent health check up. as long as there is no serious issues that happen because of the fat, then its alright. |

royal canin science diet since birth for all my cats... (except for the 18 year old...initially iams...then later on changed to royal canin).
dont really go for medical checkups...cant remember whens the last time he went to the vet. but so far hes healthy and shows no signs of ageing. the lazyness is also since kittenhood i think mok is big due to genetics...his daddy was big (not as big as mok though). and Mok doesnt really eat that much...the 18 year old eats awhole lot more than Mok does |

nice trick with the threadmill..
but ive seen even nicer trick someone mail it to me... the cat has to use a kind like a wheel system ( like the hamster one), to get his treats, once he make full circle he gets one treats automaticly.. this is d way to make that cat exercise while getting his food... i will post it if i found the klip again ---------------------------------------------------------- here's d klip for people that havent seen it, from youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upxtHEeRcOM&feature=related This post has been edited by ad_ee: Feb 16 2008, 06:40 AM |

IF no mom you can touch them anytime for care and clean right.
IF they have mom, this will depends on the mom. If you have good connection with the mother, she won't have problem of you touching her and the kitten. in most case, they do not like human to have contact with their kitten. that is the reason why, you will see most cat will move their kitten from one place to another, because of the unsecured feelings. For a start don't touch the kitten first, let the mother settle with them. but some don't mind if you touch their kittens. my cats don't mind, and of course i must touch the mother too, else she will get jealous. i read somewhere, you can touch kitten 4-5 days after birth, but please wash your hand first and after touching - its good to use glove. you don't your hands that have germs to infect the kittens. p/s in some malay pantang larang, when i was a small kid, my grandma always say, don't look at female cat give birth, don't touch their kitten - else they will eat it out. |
