QUOTE(elfreakz @ Feb 12 2008, 12:20 PM) yea i know you mention shes an oriental blue. (slightly different than russian blue), but can you be specific on what breed it actually is? slightly different than russian blue, then what? the breed name is oriental blue la. russian blue is another breed.i say its slightly different than russian blue coz the 2 breeds has similarities (like the color) but different features. like the tip of the ears... russian blue has rounded tip whereas oriental has pointy tip. |

If you do not have all this, then it is domestic cat. If you are confuse, you can contact Feline Society Malaysia (FSM) to ensure on your cat breed. But normally this society will ask where you get your cat from, what's the breeder (first owner) cattery registration number and do they provide certificate. Else they will still say it is domestic. |

And knowledge of being proud of having kucing kampung. why need to change the kucing kampung title to be mix breed or pure breed?. Cannot simply down standard our malaysian cats. there's so many kucing kampung out there that need human care. im proud to have 3 kucing kampung in my household. there are too many people confuse with cat types. like normally if we see long hair cat - we simply say it is persian. but they might be DLH, or other long hair breed. so that is why we correct things that is wrong. i have no intension of trying to be good knowledgeable cat owner. just trying to help on knowing the facts chill bro. Nicely put
I have a fat, long hair cat at home which is a pure kucing kampung! Love him to bits even when he annoys the hell out of me A neighbour down the last block of my apartment keeps a few Domestic Long Hairs... I think she got 4 or 5 of them... Sometimes she lets them out to wander about the area, goodness me... They look not very well kept at all! Face looks comot, fur looks messy, even the tail is not very fluffy... If I take my Oren to compare, people would definitely say Oren is the DLH anytime cuz his fur is shiny, tidy and fluffier! His tail is wayyy bushier! That's why I always tell my husband, breed does not matter if you don't really care about them... Just look at Oren and those DLH to compare... We turned a kucing kampung, prettier than the DLH! Hehehe KP |

Added on February 12, 2008, 6:52 pmOh ya guys, is it ok for me to remove the dead baby that just born from the cat mom? to make it less smelly, keep cleaning it like 2/3 times a day. oh well what do we expect right, its poo poo and pee pee, for sure got smell one. no matter if u hide your cat when people come, for sure they will ask "you got cats ah in the house?" ehehehe maybe they see some furs, or maybe some weird smell but my nose already immune with cats waste. get used to it already. put fans, and open the window so the smell air can go out. and put some refresher dead kitten? yes u can move the dead kitten, don't put it too long over the others, afraid it might become disease/virus that will attack the others.
