what kind of yellowish is that? is it dirts? or wall pain / spray? your cat must be white in color right? try to use a shampoo for white cat... there is a type that can make the white fur whiter and clean. thats only happen if it is dirts, but won't work is someone spray or pain your cat.

depends on the vet you are going.

if you go to SPCA:
Female Spay =RM 60
Female Spay (Pregnant) = RM 70
Male Castration = RM 40

--

Some private vet may charge up to RM80 - RM180. Male normally cheaper. and Female much more expensive. Some of this charges include 1 night stay. Some no need to stay over night.

you can call the vet first to check for price and if the price include one night stay or not.

normally the vet will ask if you already vaccine your cat, some will need to see the vaccine card. just to make sure your cat is healthy before going on with the process.

eerkk they are not your cat right? very hard for this issues.. unless you want to donate litter box and litter for the stray cats.

you house compound do not have grass and sand? weird, maybe there's something infront your door that attract them to shit there. they already mark that place as your toilet ehehehe.

else what you can do is,  ask SPCA for a hand. maybe they have solution, catch them for you. or maybe you can catch the cats and open it up for free adoption.
*
hehe donate litter box erk.. xpererrla kot.. hehe .. yupz the thing that attracts the cat the most is the sand and that cat has make my house as its port for doin his business.. SPCA?? yupz maybe i'll contact em to help me out wit the cat case.

QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Apr 9 2008, 04:00 PM)
Hmm, will try that...

I only have one cage, so before caging back Mia, kena keluarkan si Oren dululah...

How to make her people friendly ah? Nak gosok pun susah skit...
Cats will normally shit at places where there is substance like sand or something... As long as ada this a bit in front of you house, susah a bit lah, unless you really-really clean it until no trace of the cats prev biz there cuz another thing I know, once they establish a place as a pooping place, they do it often there...

owh.. memang tiap2 hari tempat tu kitorang basuh.. but the thing is, the cat has already mark that place as his private shittin place.. sebab tulah that cat jadi mangsa my hose everytime i jumper dia.. hehe

QUOTE(Cimredopyh @ Apr 9 2008, 04:02 PM)
I think you can buy some stuff specially designed to deter cats from doing this (it's not poison) it just smells really stinky, but I can't remember what it's called. Try to ask pet shop or vets?

Another thing is my gramma will sprinkle abit of ash on the grass to make them stop doing their buisness in her garden ( just normal ash from burning joss sticks) i dont understand how this works but she claims it really works. Maybe they dont like the burning ashy smell or the fine ash irritates their nose.

Edit: quoted the wrong person
*
stinky ey.. ash? yupz i think im gonna try that solution for now..

P/S - Thanks for all ur replies.. i hope ur suggestions can help me out with my cat probs.. hehe notworthy.gif

Most cats will be chubbier. Like elf said, size wise actually depends on the cat, but most of them will be chubbier(fatter tongue.gif)

But the one thing you can see obviously is no more on heat, running away, fighting and such smile.gif

Spaying/neutering is a good option smile.gif

---

Elf,

Last I neutered Oren it's already RM45 for male at the DBKL clinic.

I think non-pregnant female is RM65.

Naik sikit by RM5.00, but neutering/spaying at DBKL clinic is 100% tax deductable icon_rolleyes.gif

krynzpeaches, yea i think they increase. last week i visited government animal hospital at cheras for deworm routine, i saw one notice saying, effective 1st April 2008, vaccine will cost RM30. last time the cost is RM20 only. now increase RM10.

I neutered Oren in January, perhaps new rates has started sine early of the year...

But RM45/RM65 for neuter/spaying and RM30 for vaccine is still cheaper than private vets smile.gif

-----

Cim,

Thanks for the read, most of what is said seems the be the practise of the persons raw food creator.

Like getting from trustable market, freezing it, adding red palm oil and amino acids and so on...

She also uses the term BARF(Biologically Approved Raw Food)

So, it is good lar right?

But I still don't get the part where they say feeding raw food can help reduce bad breath and odor free coat which normally occurs to commercial food feeding pets cuz Oren doesn't stink and he's on kibbles most of the time while Mia stinks and she was on raw food most of the times hmm.gif

the Segar Vets at taman segar, charge vaccine for RM35... whistling.gif maybe they have not updated their price yet. or maybe they still keep it RM35, which means only RM5 different from the government vet.

Oren's mouth stinks when he just woke up from sleep and yawn *euwww* but other times not so... Mia on the other hand *euwww* and her fur/coat smells too sad.gif

Perhaps I'm so used to a goody-goody cat like Oren... I find Mia all the opposite...

My turn to show my house cat =3. Name's Lady... she behaved like one when we got her. Been with my family for 2 and a half years, she should be 5 years old or so.

Not Siamese but probably is a mix, she's noisy like one. Adopted frm SPCA. Very friendly, likes to lick people.

male or female cat? maybe you can refer at this website:
http://www.pet-tails.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=337
http://www.secretsofcats.com/behavior/male...female-cat.html

you need to prepare a place for your cat. is your home suitable to have cat? do you actually love cat? Or just feel like want to have accompany in the house. Are you willing to spend for their hospitality and requirement every month (good food and vitamins) ?

you can put your cat any where, as long as the place is clean and the important thing is, you give enough attention and love.
