QUOTE(empire23 @ Nov 1 2008, 05:42 AM) Hurr, try removing the capacitor by heating one pad and then tilting it to one side, repeat the process for the other side and keep cycling until cap comes out. Works for me. yeah and dont put ur solder gun too long at the pad will spoil ur pad just heating for 1-2 sec ermm Nichicon MUSE is good enuf y change to FC heheheAdded on November 1, 2008, 7:14 am QUOTE(FiSHjIGN @ Nov 1 2008, 01:31 AM) Do you guys have a direct link on farnell to an ALPS volume pot that will fit the ZERO? QUOTE(ccschua @ Nov 19 2008, 08:26 PM) Can see the DAC power supply is nichicon Muse. Known for power supply clean and fast. i wont put Black Gate STD for my Zero is abit waste eheheeh i will put for my CD63 overall i still prefer CD63 sound .... when u want to slot in Blackgate std. Green sausage is impresive. it is another step of improvement even on first impression. Zero detail is nice and dynamic but vocal slightly fake wut i call digital. When i wanna listen fast music n pop song i will connect my CD63 to Zero what i mod :- Putting Panasonic FC for Power section , Elna RJH for opamp supply , Nichicon Muse for DAC , Elna Silmic II and Silmic for regulator, puting 6N silver wire for RCA output with Neutrik RCA female plug Close up picture ![]() This post has been edited by abel: Nov 20 2008, 12:57 AM |
