Yeah, the green sausages are connected in parallel so bypass is more a coin word but it's technically wrong.

Abel, so what you're saying is "decoupling" is an easier way to upgrade but it's still best to replace the cap?

i'm thinking of putting 2 opa sun on the headphone section and op627ap on the dac section, i wonder how would they sound, could stock zero power inpot could support 2 HDAM?

I am really contemplating whether to sell the Earth, after that I might need 2 earth to put in headphone or put in the CD 63.

I just get a zero with op627 get from jaben bundle package.
Damn impress for it performance!
May I know does op627 is single or pair in the so called zero+?
does the earth,moon & sun hdams is playing different role with the op627?
I'm using esw9 with my laptop, with this powerful dac n the laptop output,does it still need amp to drive it?

loving it every moment and pairing with my mhm

I may start low first ... nearfield listening setup Looking for something like those RM800ish speaker (Wharfedale Diamond, AE Neo, PSB B1 etc) + T-Amp(bang for the buck, details yet decent enough power for nearfield or small room enviroment), may spent more on IC and Speaker cable, targetting D102 MKIII and Royal Jade (got some lubang from my China friend ), musical is essential cos next level upgrade would be Audio-GD's higher end DAC which quite certain to be highly transparent + very little musically, thus VDH may accompany me till the end

Still not yet join the CD63 gang, but looking forward to sell my DAC100. I think it's time upgrade to bookshelf setup, Aego 2 seriously lack the depth and musical of bookshelf setup, thus gotta sell my DAC100 to fund my bookshelf project. RM600 shipped Interested? Seriously it's a step higher than stock ZERO + EARTH discrete opamp, as Abel and Chua mentioned, it's comes with very low distortion, very detailed yet it's clean and smooth, somemore it's quite sensitive to power cord too, we changed 2 power cords in the process, I can easily tells the difference between them, I'm a power cord believer now!!!
Van Tan Hoh is really good, natural, without any emphasis on any frequencies, no wonder it's selling like a piece of hot cakes for decades!

CD63 is quite good, almost perfect to me but IMHO with better soundstage, details and tigher bass, it's full marks! Something in between DAC100's transparency and CD63's musicality would be the best and most balanced!

CHUA, Franken Zero as in your unit with the Buffer Stage mod still lost out to DAC100? Hmmmm......

OK, what was the transport used for the Zero? CD63 or DVD player or Laptop via digital converter?

STEVE, thanks for your advice! I could have ended up with an Aego if you didn't tell me to stick with separates. Now I have to think of what amp to get.

ABEL, wah.... strong selling on CD63... 1 Penang fella just sold a KI at rm400.
