Wahlau, RM85 onli nowadays eh for CM Hyper TX?? When i bought it last year it was about RM125... Haihhhhhh

The performance is quite good ler.. If i'm not mistaken even soulfly use it to oc his rig up to 3.0ghz...
I'm using it too but currently my rig can only be pushed max to 2.9ghz but the most stable is at 2.8ghz, donno why though, it could be the mobo ler me think..

Last sunday i buy at JUST-PC (IMBI) Got 2 model can use with am2 mobo. 1 is cm hyper tx amd (if not worng is bout RM70) 2 is cm hyper tx2 can use in 775 and am2 price is RM95..so i nego a bit with the sellman ..he give me RM85..
tis cooler is quit good performance for low budget..
u can see many brand follow cm hyper tx ..like Xigmatek HDT-S1283(no sure is CM follow xigmatek or xigmatek follow CM)

Hello Modders,

Im noob in OC. I just got this new 4400+ in Gigabyte GA-M51GM-S2G Board. Last time I cant set my fsb because it was locked so I updated to the new bios(GA-M51GM-S2G F11) and I manage to OC my 3500+ to around 15% (2.5ghz). My friend ask me to set the fsb:dram ratio to 1:1 but I cant find it in my board. Where to set this thing? Maybe its a cheapo board so can set that thing? or I must update to the latest Bios? So attached herewith a S/S of my CPU-Z. Hope sifus-sifus here can help me.

Last night I set with Easy Tune 5 to 20% Oc and my cpu straight restart =(. So last night I set my FSB from 230 to 240 x 11. And I test it with SP2004 x 2 = 100% load & Memtest it and stable for 8 hours. The temp for cpu around 39-41celcius while the system 51celcius. (Im in aircond room)

AMD 4400+
GA-M51GM-S2G
1GB Kingston normal ram x 2
ThermalTake Mini Tyhpoon.
& Powerlogic PSU that come with the Casing (Magnum250?)

Please advise what the limit I can go. Thanks for guiding noob~

hi and welcome.

Please do your overclocking thru bios.this is much2 more stable and convinient too.
2ndly the 1:1 fsb dram ratio only exist in intel system.no such thing in amd.
And hopefully you can try read some guide in the pinned thread outside this forum.

This would be much2 more faster for you.after you done try according to guide and still stuck with issue..
then only can try post it here..for everybody opinian.

pleaseeee upgrade your psu to something more high calibre psu.
b4 it eat your hardware due to a fail psu.

i've tried to update the bios on my mobo..i'm using biostar ta690g.but on the halfway,my pc suddenly dead and now i can't turn on my pc..what should i do?very2 noob abt dis matter

use floppy disk to rebuild ur bios back lar...

my old system is an amd mobile barton 2500+ and memory at 233 (2-2-2-5) i used 1:1 ratio. 10x233= 2.33 ghz
what do u mean amd cannot adjust 1:1?

previously? my amd dfi nforce2 board? u simply go to memory divider aka dram/fsb aka memory ratio or whatever ur board calls it. and set to 2/3 to 1/1

barton is K7, this thread is about K8 DDR2. There is no 1:1 in K8 DDR2 because the memory controller runs at the same speed as clockspeed, and there is no way you can run 1:1 with this system unless you can run your memory at the same speed at your cpu clockspeed.

Even FSB does not exist in current AMD system.

How much do u think i can go ?
should i update my bios though ? since i saw new bios at the 1st post .

If the floppy disk can not reflash or rescue back the bios ....the only way can do is hotflash the bios(this nid another biostar ta690g mobo to do it)
