Yup Acid was very fast, and his strategy was right too. He gained 8 secs from me in only 5 laps because he stops earlier. And then his race pace as you said was mesmerizing. If only he starts from pole, it would have been very very difficult for me. Anyway, the end of 2nd stint, I was too tired to push anymore, my neck and butt started to give away. I saw the gap and was confident Acid couldn't do anything except only if I made a mistake. So I was lucky I had built the gap earlier in the race when Acid was busy fighting pitt, mara and madnoren. I told ya mara, the pole was a blessing here and it's very important one.

Anyway good race all, and participation was quite good despite this is only test race. Next week is the main battle. We will see who will be at the forefront of the battle.

I always knew pole is gonna be important this season. I expected that this season is gonna be somewhat similar to our other tin top seasons, the V8 and the Megane....well megane is a prototype but still tin top.

But at mills i must say that i was helpless. I didnt prepare enough and honestly i still dont know much abt the car still and time is running out. I see Acid rising slowly and steadily from early stint in our F1 season. Just hope he can contribute and share his thoughts.

Well..first things first. I have to fix my windows prob and perhaps reinstall rfactor. Plus my .plr keeps on resetting before i can start putting my hands on the wheels again. Looks like PCcrazy is on for the whole season...I hope i can buckle up on time LOL.

Hmm freetrack thing might have shifted your concentration at mills. No worries, it's just a test race. I'd rather make mistakes at test race instead of real race later.

As for the car characteristics, the behavior of the car is quite easy to understand once the car is light, i.e in qualy trim. But I tell you the long stint can surprise you a bit sometimes. Like last race at Essington, during the longer stints, my car was off the pace almost 1.5 second off my normal pace no matter how hard I tried to steer the car. Here, is almost the same but due to shorter track I was only 0.5 to 1 sec slower. So the strategy seems better if you divide your stop into exactly half the distance. Going longer is gonna lose you tremendous amount of time. If the gap is close, who pit first will take the position.

Hmm, I'll try to be conservative on tyres next time to push it when it's light just to see the effect. But I fear the wear rates between pushing and not doesn't contribute that much.

Indeed...I got my brake bias all wrong plus my brakes pedal sensitivity is all messed up. Resulting my weight transfers and distribution all gone lalala and so does my laptimes.
